Tony's @ MK - how is the spaghetti ?

How is Tony's in MK..
Spaghetti with meatballs in Tony's own tomato sauce $18.99

Is it the spaghetti cooked till mushy or just right ?
How is the sauce - too sugary/sweet or too much garlic or oregano ?

We would really like to eat here for dinner and see the place.

We are not fancy people. Spaghetti is fine for us.

Wish I could help, but we decided against eating there during our last trip because we got some bad reviews.

The spaghetti and meatballs was fine-- nothing to write home about, but remember that you are a captive audience ;o)

Ate lunch there this past week and we loved it! My DSIL had the spaghetti and it had 3 huge meatballs, I tasted it and it was outstanding! I had the Ziti, huge portion, yummy!

We just ate there on the Dining Plan and it was a sidedish to my meal. We liked Tony's. We had a lot of food on the DDP. I saw the Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Meatballs were large. I had the eggplant, it was tasty but not very much eggplant, mostly pasta.

We went in July of our last year there as we were ending our vacation. It was fine for us.

I had the spaghetti and I thought it was fine. I thought the sauce was fine but have no way of answering your questions regarding how it will be to your tastes for too sugary/sweet, garlic or oregano. I don't remember it being any garlic at all in it. I'm thinking I didn't get the meatballs, just the sauce. I'm a rather plain eater though, so it all depends on how adventerous you are.

I know I had read varying reviews but our family liked it. It wasn't on our original plans but decided to try it.

I would go again.

I had the spaghetti last December. It was the worst I've ever had and I was shocked. Absolutely no taste. The sauce had no flavor but the noodles were cooked okay. My dd was fine eating it. My dh ordered the chicken parm I think and he thought it was pretty good.

I've eaten there twice, in March 2004 and February 2006. I got spaghetti and meatballs both times and really enjoyed it!! I actually replaced the spaghetti with penne pasta, its just my personal preference but they had no problem doing that.

I did not see chicken parm on the menu for dinner (Deb Will's web-site)...

But I did find:
Chicken Florentine - chicken breast topped with prosciutto, spinach, melted cheese, served with roasted potatoes, and marsala mushroom sauce $22.49

Would if I could order just Chicken Marsala and skip the Florentine/cheese part ?

My son - the amazingly picky eater he is... loves meatballs and spaghetti - only one issue. No sauce. And I mean -no sauce-...liiiike, the meatballs cant even be cooked in sauce.

Anyone know, or have experience with these restaurants and their meatballs? Anyone gotten them sauce-less?

The sauce is a tomato paste and tomato sauce since it is sponsored by Contadina. It isn't a fresh tomato sauce. It wasn't too much of anything. Kind of on the bland tomato taste side. Not too much pepper or salt. If there was garlic, it wasn't much. Sweet, not too much. I add a bit to mine so there might be some sugar to cut the tomato sauce/paste, but you hardly taste it. Remember, not to heavily spiced and a very tomato sauce taste.

The spaghetti when we were there was cooked aldenti. The water was drained well from it.

The meatballs were good in my opinion.

Have I had better spaghetti and meatballs, YOU BET! This is just OK! But, it was a good meal and nice atmosphere.
