I have heard nothing but horror stories about Tony's. Has anyone out there had a good experience eating there?

Well my experience was sort of long ago (November 2006) but we had a wonderful meal there. It actually was our anniversary and we had lunch there. The table was decorated and we were treated very nicely! Our food was good -- not like a "real" italian restaurant but good. DH had the baked ziti and I had spaghetti and meatballs. Salad was good. Garlic bread came with the meal. We were soooo stuffed we could barely touch the cake which was some sort of walnut -- not sure they serve that anymore or not -- but it was delish.

Service was quick. We did wait a few minutes to get in but not long. I liked how the tables were not on top of each other - I actually felt I was dining with just my husband and not strangers at the next table :thumbsup2 !! DH has always said how much he would like to go back. I think that you should give it a try. We are all a bit quick to mention the bad times we have at a restaurant but less so the good times.

If it disappoints you ... well at least you gave it a chance!

We have had lunch and dinner there. We had lunch two years ago and dinner four years ago. We do prefer lunch over dinner becasuse the portions are smaller and we don't feel as rushed and the service seems a little better.

We went to Tony's on our previous trip for lunch. It was very nice there, actually. We took an outdoor table and everyone enjoyed their meal there.

I ate at Tony's two years ago with my mom. We had one of the last dinner seatings and it was great. We weren't rushed; had a really attentive waiter (he's bring drink refills over without us asking...the drinks would just appear for us!); and the food was good. My mom had the seafood diablo and I had a steak. We're going again this year for dinner too. I'm hoping it's just as good.

::yes::
Have been to Tony's three times...most recently December 2007...we have enjoyed each visit...portions are so big DH and I each order a salad and then share an entrée. DS likes fettuccine alfredo and was disappointed it wasn't offered on the kid's menu..when we mentioned this to our server he said it wouldn't be problem! Like to schedule our meal here @2 hours before Spectro Magic begins so when we are done eating we can go out to the porch and watch it go by and then make an easy exit! :thumbsup2
