I made reservations for Tony's in MK for dinner our first night because we will just be coming from Universal and we will only have a few hours there. We are doing CP later in our stay so we don't want to do that again. Is it o.k. or will we be disappointed.

i think you'll like it :) alot of people give tony's flak - i was on the fence after reading some of the things people wrote. but i was 100% impressed and, i intend on rebooking when i hit my 180 day mark. the chicken parm is VERY tasty!!

Love Tony's one of the best meals from my last trip. A must do every trip :thumbsup2

I was worried after reading some reviews on here, but we really enjoyed our meal. The portions were huge, the service was excellent...all in all, a thumb's up. Now, it is more Olive Garden than real Italian, but hey, I like Olive Garden!

We love Tony's! We've always had great experiences and thusly, is always a must do for us. :)

We love Tony's! We always eat there our last night of every trip. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We always do Ton's on our first night in. Food and service have always been good for us. Then we can catch Spectromagic on the front porch, do a nearby ride or two (pirates is a fave), see Wishes, and head off to bed.

We've eaten there once for dinner a few years ago and both of us liked it. I had the chicken marsala and my Mom hand the spaghetti and meatballs. I don't know if both of these things are still on the menu though.

OK I'll play devil's advocate LOL! We ate at Tony's for dinner in 2007 and it was a pretty bad experience. The spinache and artichoke dip we had for an appetizer was fabulous. For dinner, two of us ordered the NY strip and two of us ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Our server took our orders and came back 40 minutes later with our food. He never checked on us in between. The steak was cooked to order, the spaghetti was cold and dry. We asked for the spaghetti to at least be warmed up, some extra marinara, and steak sauce. We had to ask this of some random server because ours went AWOL again after delivering our plates. Our regular server brought the spaghetti back, reheated, but without the marinara or steak sauce. We asked him for those and he came back with a tiny cup of marinara (to be shared by 2 people - think of those little cups you pump ketchup into), and no steak sauce. We ended up just eating our food as it was since we were starving, and of course we never saw our server again. Another person brought our bill and, 15 minutes later, finally came back with my credit card. I haven't been able to convince myself to go back.

We ate at Tony's for dinner for the first time this past January. All in all it was very good. I had a NY strip steak that was outstanding. The greens served with it were cooked and seasoned well. The potatoes were nearly inedible though. DW got the spaghetti with meatballs, and said it was also very good. We also like the soft rolls that were served with the meals. Service was good, but it was a bit on the noisy side (although not at all unexpected). I would definitely eat there again.

We ate at Tony's last week on our disneymoon - second time eating there and we enjoyed it! If you go in with reasonable expectations along the line of Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill - you will not be disappointed.

DH got the NY Strip both times and each time, it was really excellent. I also enjoy the green salad.

We ate at Tonys and I was not expecting anything great...and a good thing too because it was not even good. :confused3 The thing is that I would just settle for mediocre even...but yuck! The servers weren't nice either...not rude...just not nice.

We are in the "Will Not Return" camp.:sad2:

We ate dinner there a couple of weeks ago and we enjoyed it! DH had the NY strip which was fabulous, I had the seasonal gnocchi, I LOVED my dessert - the granny smith apple sorbet!!! Nothing fancy but good enough for us! :thumbsup2

We've eaten at Tony's 3 different trips and it's always been good.
I just booked an ADR with them for this Sept. and looking forward to
eating there again.

We love Tony's - it is a must for every trip. I love the chicken parm and DH and DS love the NY strip. We have eaten there everytime and haven't had a bad experience.

Tony's is one of our few must-do meals. It's old school Disney. pixiedust: Lady and the Tramp is my favorite movie so I find the whole experience total Disney. We have been twice and both times the food was really good. :thumbsup2

We ate there a few years ago and loved it. Sat outside and watched Spectromagic while eating. Great food and a fun time.

However, in the MK area you could take the boat or monorail to Poly and eat at Kona or Ohanas which I feel are better than Tony's.

We ate there a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised. We did a walk up when it opened for dinner and were sat quickly. Our server was great. The calamari was yummy, the shrimp salad not so much. I got the shrimp scampi and DH the chicken parm we both loved our meals. We did not get dessert since we were way too full from the huge portions. We will definatly be doing it again.

So great to hear all of these good reviews! I had decided to book to try something different but had heard all of the mixed reviews and it had me concerned. Thanks!! :)
