We have a priority seating for Tony's at lunch with the characters next month. We ate dinner @ Tony's last year and it was very good. Just wondering if anyone can report back on the character breakfast or lunch? Food good? Characters good?

We've got a PS for the lunch there next week. So I'd like to hear some opinions too.

Ona ;)

We ate there on 8/16 for lunch. Called and got PS the day before. It wasn't crowded at all, nothing like Crystal Palace. All of the characters came around twice. Tigger, Piglet, and Pooh even sat down with 2 y.o. DS. Pooh helped him color the picture on the child's placemat:) The band that playes on Main Street with the washboard & banjo etc. came in and played several songs also.

The menu is cut way back from what is normally available. There is a choice of two appetizers, five entrees spaghetti, calzone, chicken parmesan, pasta primavera, and ??), and two desserts for adults. The kids had a seperate menu with a chocolate chip cookie for desert. It was all-you-care-to-eat and seconds were available.

The service was fine although our server fif tend to disappear for long periods of time. There was a good deal of interaction between the servers and the characters also.

We were there on 8-16 also. How about that? Got a PS that day at the restaraunt. The food was good(had the chicken parmesan and calzone) but not great. Liked the cheescake alot though. Like the previous post said, very very limited menu. They also have a kids menu. I would have liked a bigger selection. The characters are really good and there is plenty of room for them to maneuver(at least where we were).

Hope you like it!

We ate there 8-11. We had a late lunch seating and it was great. We sat by the windows facing main street and saw the parade go by. The food was good and so was the service. The waiter sang to my dd. (she thought he was nuts) We really enjoyed it more than we thought we would. Even though it seemed to take a while to get our food. Guess I was use to the buffets and Ohanas. And the characters were great! Of course they were not around during the parade, cause they were in it. But they did come around twice.
