Tony ADR with MSEP Package, and not everyone eating

We have an upcoming ADR lunch with this package and I'm still contemplating on keeping it or not still.

It's for 6, but 2 of our party is going to have an early lunch at CRT. If they still joined the rest of us 4 for the ADR but not order anything, do you know, or think, the other two in our party will still receive the VIP seating ticket for that evening?

We are on the DDP too, so don't know if that makes any difference or not too.

Were you planning on using 4 dining credits and then the other two just nothing, or paying OOP for everything?

I don't recall seeing a minimum purchase anywhere - but it seems odd that you could make a reservation for a larger group and potentially have only one person eat. Theoretically then you could then walk in with a ten top, order one dessert and obtain the viewing benefit for the whole party. They may require them to make a purchase.

Makes sense, especially to that extreme.

The four of us would be ordering a full meal, the other two would not. I'm sure they would at least order a drink but doubt anything else since they would just be finishing their CRT lunch less than an hour before. If they couldn't participate in the MSEP viewing section that evening, I'd rather just cancel the ADR altogether so that way we stay together as a group, and then just find a spot earlier on the curb/side in Liberty Square.

It's a dining package, so you paid a fixed amount regardless of how much is ordered/eaten. According to the Disney World Dining webpage, it was $45 per adult or dining credit per person and it includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and standard drink. The two could just drink the drink, but they'd still have to pay $45 if they want the voucher that will get them into the reserved viewing area.

Meal, Pricing and Reservation Details The Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package costs $45 for adults and $17 for children ages 9 and under (tax and gratuity not included). Each dining package comes complete with an appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage, along with a VIP viewing voucher.
