It sucked at the beginning of the season, then started to get better and I thought - Great, it's getting good now!

Then this week happened!

What is going on?!

Not only did it reek but it ended at 9:50!!!! I really hate it
when they end it early!!!!! I'm always checking the clock
to see how much time there is left for great drama they
blow it for me. Stupid waste of time on seances and children.
Wasting time on Janice and Bobby. Wasting time on dream
secquences that go nowhere nor are meaningful. Wasting
time on AJ's girlfriend, her character isn't even interesting!!!!
Yawn. Two shows left and the writers take a vacation-geesh!
I don't even like Melfi's involvement this year-they couldn't
get Melfi in Bogdonavich's office-they had to show her leaving
a message? At least he's interesting to look at when he's
on.

With last weeks episode--the one with Chritsopher going into rehab---it appeared that they were getting read for a war between the NY/NJ crime families. I think by having Christopher in rehab--he'll be safe. He just may be the last man standing!

Then last night.....a bunch of nothing.

Hopefully the final two episodes will be good ones.

I agree, it SUCKED Big ONES! My DH said: "Its over all ready?" and I said: "Might as well be, it Sucked!" I think I will wait and tape the next ones and watch the ending...I am missing out on "Malcom in the Middle" I LOVE that show!

Yep. It was toilet material. I'm not sure where they're going with the bad dreams and the breaking it off with Melfi, but if they don't have some giant climax for them - they wasted alot of film. And yes, they not only ended it at 9:50, they didn't even start it until after 9:00. So it was extra short.

But anyway, what do you guys think of Carmela's short hair? It's okay, but I liked it better before.

Yeah, very disappointing. What is up with Janice?! Why does she think that Bobby shouldn't be grieving? Since when is she such an authority on grief? Does she think she's next in line in Bobby's life? She's among the last people that Bobby should hook up with!
And Tony leaving Melfi? Just when he's starting to have wierd dreams! But he doesn't want to tell her what he did to Ralphie, he's afraid he'll slip & tell her?!
Very frustrating episode - next week had better be better!

Oh, you'd better believe Janice is after Bobby, big time. In my opinion, she's the scariest and most dangerous person on the show. At least with everyone else on the show, well,you know upfront what they are all about. But she is so horribly sneaky, deceitful, and manipulative. Yuck!!! She really gives me the willies.
Also, if Carmela and Furio don't get together in the next two episodes, I'm gonna be majorly bummed. I am so sick of watching Tony get it on with almost every woman that crosses his path, and what they all see in him I'll never know....oh, yeah, right, hes a powerful man...hello-he's also fat and bald, not that a man can't be attractive with those traits, but come on, for every woman just to jump on him on site...I just don't get it. At least Carmela and Furio have developed some real feelings for each other, and she deserves a roll in the hay with a major stud after all she's put up with as Tony's wife. You go girl!!!

Most disappointing episode. I'm glad to see Tony break it off with Melfi. Her scenes have sucked this season.

I had such high hopes for this week. It was a major let down. They better end strong. Cutting it short was bull. They could have used that time to try to rescue this episode. Janice is a waste of time. We need more on the mafia families and the possible war. Not AJ and some dumb kids.

I also hope Carmella hooks up with Furio. That will make for interesting plot lines. The only way he can have her is to kill Tony.

The part I dont like the most about the Sopranos is the way characters come and go. For awhile we saw Christopher and Aid. Then she disapears. Meadow comes and goes. AJ pokes his head in now and then. We need more details on the trial.

After all that I will be watching the last two weeks. I hope things pick up. Any idea when its coming back. They took to much time between new episodes this time. Alot of people lost interest. I hope it hasnt jumped the shark!

Still very uneven writing......poor flow........little suspense. Another disappointing season . Hey, with only 2 episodes left, I hope that they'll salvage some drama........it shouldn't be toooooooo hard ......

What made the first 3 seasons so great is that things would just happen and then they'd show the characters dealing with the aftermath. .

This season has been all build up and nothing happening.. even the long-overdue killing of Ralphie was unsatisfying; it's like the writers figured out they had to do it, so they wrote the whole thing with the horse and his kid getting shot with the arrow on a cocktail napkin and filmed it. . .

Plus is it just me or has it seemed like Gandolifini was sick throughout the filming of all these episodes? Like he has a bad cold and no energy?

There's only one thing that could save the season now. . Bobby accidently takes some of Chris' smack, passes out on the couch, and crushes Janis to death when she crawls under him trying to steal his wallet. . .

Janice is a by-product of her mother. She is cunning, manipulative psychotic and downright nasty.

And what is up with Tony and the blonde---the russian chick? Why did they have him and her hook up on the couch last week? Another WTH????

Even with all our complaints....we still keep watching!
