I'll be headed to Atlantic Dance at about 9pm (I like to get settled in early LOL).

If anyone else is going, I was planning on wearing black pants and a blue shirt. I wont have my glasses on, and I just got my hair buzzed.

My phone is almost out of minutes, in case I dont respond to you. I plan on picking up more on the way out if I remember

Yeah, it was fun

I got there WAY early, wanting to get good parking since I didnt know how busy it would be. It ended up not ever getting really busy, but it was still fun!

Sphyrrna was the first to show up, and Zulemara popped in not too much longer. Rob N Bruce were on the way, but Bruce decided to go back to the hotel room so Rob was a little bit later.

We got to meet the guy who runs savepleasureisland.com, and I ended up randomly talking to quite a few people

Good hint for Atlantic Dance: the latin bartender (Alberto? maybe) makes REALLY strong drinks

I had a good time. Was really glad I got to meet Conk and Zulemara and Rob. I thought the music was pretty good. Some good dance music mixed in with some other genres for the str8 people. I just wish there was a larger turnout. I also wish I didn't want to get to DHS early this morning so I could have stayed longer.

Thoughts on why there wasn't a large turnout? Too early in the celebration? Not enough advertising the event? No real interest? Techno scared people?

I'm in Raleigh right now waiting for the plane to take me to Atlanta then Orlando. It's raining here, and from what I can see, raining there too.

I guess tomorrow will be wet, then? I'll get in around midnight, and will be on our way to MK in the morning.

Anyone know what time the park opens?

I think it was just not enough advertising. A lot of people have no clue that place is there. It was quite a bit busier on Saturday night though!

First post here! just to say that I had every intention to meet all of you that thursday night....or at least get a food good drinks in me SO I figured with the lack of alternatives to PI there would be at least some kind of scene there but after walking all the way from the end of the parking lot and down that boardwalk I found a dead zone (at 1030!)... maybe two small groups of boyz and some str8 couples giving me weird looks. SO even though I think I saw you CK (standing??) it was too dark to tell and not being a fan of Bell Biv OR Devoe which was blaring I just couldn't do it and left as quickly as I arrived. My loss... for not getting to know any of you sooner.

Conk always seems to be smiling! He has to be one of the friendliest person I've ever met!! Definitely not shy to just go up and start talking to someone! I need to take some lessons from him.
