Go you for holding your compsure after your aunt lied to you! I would have been so mad and upset! Why couldn't she just tell you the truth! Ugh!

Wow I miss you!! I am glad you stopped by! Amy did a great job! I love the staircase pictures! They came out gorgeous! You will LOVE the tea party!!!! You really do get filled up with the food! My aunt is crazy...lol. I think it was more my uncle not wanting to take her back to our resort but still there is no need for lying!

Major Congrats!!! It's crazy that my wedding was just a few days after yours. I apologize that I'm not a very good blogger on here. In fact I'm probably the worst , but once I receive my photos from Misty I too will do a TR all around her photos and our honeymoon pics from our camera. I just wanted to reach out to you and say that you looked amazing and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos.

You will love the tea! I found my hat on Ebay for $7.00! My MOH made hers. I am not sure where she bought it though.

That is correct! You can no longer have an outside photographer at any in park function. You can still do a wishes DP though since its at a resort but no illuminations. Only a Disney photographer can do it.

For the tea I covered everyone's bill but I have seen several girls who just paid for their bridal party or just had everyone cover themselves. I am guessing you can't distribute gifts because it is kind of small in there and it might be distracting. I just gave everyone their favor after the tea in the GF lobby!

We are doing it at 2pm before my 3pm rehearsal, and 4:50pm rehearsal dinner.
Reading your TR, I realized that I need to think about some things:
- is it possible to hand out favors at the tea room? I have some.
- what should I order so that my guests don't get stuffed only 3 hours before dinner?
- How did you make sure your non-Disney guests knew where to go? I'm hoping people don't get lost on the way to the WP.
lol!


BTW...I have a non-Disney photographer doing my wedding and DP. Maybe DFTW just didn't tell me no since I started planning my wedding last February and we are getting married this month (too last minute). But anyway, that doesn't sound right to me.

Anyway, I love the tea party! I love that idea, but I'm not really girly so who knows. PS Your MK shots are gorgeous!!! Can you shoot anywhere in the MK? I'd love to shoot in front of Pirates or somewhere in adventureland as well....

You will love the tea party!!! You can find the menus on magical kindgoms.com. I think they have several you can choose from. I told my outside of Disney guests to just follow the signs for the Magic Kingdom and they will then start seeing the signs for the Grand Floridian. They thought it was pretty easy and didn't get lost. There are a ton of signs. i told them to meet me in the lobby so I could show them where the tea room was. They won't let you pass out favors in there but I did mine after the tea in the lobby and it was a nice surprise for everyone.

you are ok with the photography since you signed up last year with disney. I think the new photography policy went into effect for all contracts signed after October 1st.

Thank you so much!! I can't wait to do my new update. I am just waiting for my CD of pictures!!! That is great that you are planning a Disney wedding!! You will get tons of ideas on here!! I hope I can help out in any way also! I think that if you get a great photographer they will take suggestions of different locations to shoot your Magic Kingdom pictures. I believe I saw one bride who actually did pictures in front of pirates of the caribbean. They had swords and everything.

I am dying to get the CD so I can start up again. I COULD do the TR with pictures I got from family and all but I really want to give a good vision of the wedding day and I think only Misty's pictures can capture that. I have actually seen the pictures and they are amazing. I can't wait to share them! Misty really captured all the details of the wedding. She made me love my wedding even more!

and it was your tea that gave me the idea!!! It was so much fun! I loved wearing the hat. I have always wanted to do that. I felt so classy. We were like the only people in there wearing hats but I didn't care. We looked cool!! My godfather was so sweet. I got some pics from Misty with me holding Lady that I am going to send to him. I think he will like that! Family does suck sometimes but I guess its normal. It all turned out for the best.

Misty just sent me these today. They are pretty awesome. She did some special editing to them since they were some of her favorites. She did a softening effect to the pictures.

Again, I HIGHLY recommend Misty. She is a woman and a woman knows what a bride wants to capture. Misty captured pictures above and beyond what I would have even thought of! She was amazing.
