Hi, in DL what time is the breakfast menu's available to please? Thanks :)

In Disneyland, I think only CS with breakfast Tommorrowland Terrace, the River Belle Terrace, and Market House/Starbucks. All serve from park opening (or in the case of Starbucks, whenever they allow guests onto Main Street). RBT serves breakfast until 11:30 am and Tomorrowland Terrace serves until 10:30 am. I don't know about Starbucks. The two breakfast TS locations (Plaza Inn and Carnation Cafe) serve breakfast until 11:00 am.

figment_jii mostly answered this question, but I wanted to add the Mint Julep Bar to the list. I think it usually opens at the same time as the park, and you can get coffee, hot chocolate, and Mickey shaped beignets there. Those are served all day. There's also the Jolly Holiday Bakery which has pastries and a few other interesting items that would work for breakfast.

I'd forgotten about Jolly Holiday! It has muffins and breakfast items, but many of the more interesting dessert items aren't available until after 11:00 am. I stopped by hoping for a s'mores bar and the CM said they wouldn't ready until around 11:00 am. Along those same lines, the little coffee stand on the Hub (near the entrance to Frontierland) is also open at park opening (mostly coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a few breakfast pastry items).

Oh yeah... pumpking beignets + coffee .... perfect morning

Jolly Holiday used to offer breakfast sandwiches but they seem to have disappeared. It's too bad, because it was an option for groups where someone just wants a pastry and someone wants something more substantial. My guess is not many people stop in the morning for breakfast, so Disney doesn't offer much. On the other hand, I'm sure many people make sure to eat before going to the park, knowing what's offered for breakfast.

Does anyone know if the Matterhorn Macaroon is available before 11:00? It's on the list of things that I want to surprise DH with as he is both a penguin fan and a macaroon fan.

Thanks. What does CS & TS stand for please? Yes it was TT I was looking at. I was liking the sound of a cook breakfast for our early lunch on a very early magic morning but alas 10.30 is still a tad too early for us. Thanks for the info - very helpful :)

Never had/seen a pumpking beignets... so I googled it...

"There’s something comforting about spending the weekends in bed with a steaming cup of coffee and a plate of warm beignets. Soft, warm pillowy goodness covered with a flurry of powdered sugar. If you’ve never had a beignet, you’ve been missing out on life."

Turns out I'm missing out on life - so I'll be first in line at our DL visit :) :) :)

Seems to be the case. On our first day we'll be starting at 7am for a magic morning and we'll be spending it in Fantasyland and Toon Town. We'll have morning tea around 9-9.30am but we'll be looking for lunch by half 11. Seems to be a lot of pizza options in these two areas but not much in the way of light lunches - sandwiches and so on. Any tips?

How does penguin fit with a macaroon? You got me interested :)

I've seen then the At Jolly Holiday before 11:00 am, but I also been there when they only had muffins and croissants. Unfortunately, it just depends on what they've finished making.

What does CS & TS stand for please?
As a PP said, CS stands for counter service (also called quick service sometimes) and TS stands for table service.

I'm thinking maybe to do with the Penguins that appear in the "Jolly Holiday" scene of Mary Poppins :)

Mainly it is just random things my husband likes, penguins and macaroons, and I have heard that there are stained glass windows portraying penguins at the Jolly Holiday. We do have a life sized emperor penguin stuffed animal which lives in our living room. It keeps the emu company. :) Obviously we have both spent too many years working at toy stores.

In that case, also look above the sign over the entrance! (There's another little penguin - looks the same as the ones in the stained glass windows - up there.)

Thank you to Figment__jii. I like reading your takes on food.
Thanks!
