Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station Review

Thank you both for your recent review! I am glad there is finally a counter service worth eating at in the MK - I usually never eat there! =)

WOW! I have been waiting for a review like that! Thank you :flower:

Does anyone think/know if this will be added to the dining plan list of CS's?

do they use all white meat chicken in their chicken dishes or is it dark meat as well?

Thank you for the review..it looks wonderful!

The soup had all white meat in it. DH's Stir Fry had both, I believe. The bites I had were dark meat.

Boy, that make my mouth water just thinking about "decent" counter service food in MK that's not a burger. We are now to the point that we hop over to WS in EPCOT for lunch rather than risk more than one Pecos Bill's meal per trip. This is a long needed change. We now eat burgers at Sci Fi for lunch rather than risk the counter service. With the DDE card it's abou the same for a family of four once you get the discount.

I can't take it any more...I'm heading to the kitchen to make some Asian Dumpling Soup!!

Thanks for the reviews! I can't wait to try the egg rolls dipped in the hoisin sauce. :earboy2:

DH, DD adn I went back to the Noodle Station for lunch today, and I wanted to give a little update....

Today we decided to share the Stir Fry Chicken with Lo-Mein, an order of Potstickers, and an eggroll. This was still plenty of food for the three of us. I was really disappointed today in the Lo-Mein though. It was really mushy. One of the things I liked so much about it last time, was the noodles were firm. I really dislike too soft noodles. I've been known to toss a whole box of spaghetti and start fresh if it's cooked too soft! The chicken in it this time was definately all dark meat. The pot stickers were still good, and the eggroll was great, especially with that hoisin sauce from the potstickers.

I hope this was just an off batch, and of course, we'll go back :flower:

Hi...Bernard here,

we ate there on our trip last week, and it was very good. I had the vegetarian noodle bowl with tofu, and it was delicious. DW & DS's had chicken stir fry and pad thai, which have already been reviewed. This place is on our list of places to go back to.

I am happy to report that this was a good choice for veggies.

For those of you who like it, and the option to have a non-burger meal, PLEASE make sure that you tell someone there - preferably a manager. That type of feedback helps. I told a CM at the counter since her manager was not available, and she was thrilled to hear the feedback.

This place sounds good. We'll have to try it on Monday for lunch!
Can I ask though, what are pot stickers?

I was so looking forward to the reviews for the Noodle Station!! Thank you.

No more burgers and fries for me. I love lo mein noodles!

I had the chicken noodle bowl. All the chicken in it was dark meat. This alone caused me to review it badly. If I go back I'll try the tofu.

I had the chicken noodle bowl last week and it was mostly white meat and delcious, a great place to sit and look at the castle. We saw some of Cinderellabration while we ate.

Does the chicken stir fry with lomein and the shrimp pad tai come with pot stickers or an egg roll? I seem to remember the Lotus Blossom (Chinese counter service) gave us an egg roll with our orange chicken rice bowl.....
Maybe that was a special for the time we went???

Sad to report that we were not impressed with their food. My DW had the Chicken Noodle bowl and I had the Shrimp Pad Thai. She really did not enjoy hers and I have to say it was one of the most disappointing pad thai's I've ever had. I'm not saying that being Chinese and my DW being Japanese makes us experts, but we do eat a lot of asian based (thai, japanese, chinese, korean, vietnamese) food. IMHO, for example their choice of using mung bean noodles for the chicken noodle bowl was like saying that rye bread with seeds would be a good choice of bread for french toast.

Not to be a BIG downer, but my DH and I ate here a few weeks ago and thought it was the worst meal we ate while we were at DW for 8 days. We split the teriyaki chicken and vegetables served over rice, and we ended up throwing half of it away and going some place else. We both agreed that it was our worst meal at DW this past trip. Sorry! Try it, but don't get TOO excited!
