Hi Guys,

Has anybody done .....??????

Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

Make your evening extra sweet at a special dessert party that provides a wonderful vantage point for Wishes® Nighttime Spectacular, the biggest, most dazzling fireworks show to grace the skies above Magic Kingdom theme park!
Location:Magic Kingdom Resort AreaPrice:$$ ($15 to $35.99 per person)*Cuisine:AmericanDinner:9:00PM (Does Not Include Characters)

Cheers

We did the Dessert Party in 2009 and really enjoyed it. I think we paid $22 per ticket and thought it was good value. However at $35.99 I don't think it's not such good value. The puddings were nice but how many can you realistically eat without feeling sick? We got a good view of the fireworks.

Having done it once I wouldn't do it again.

We did it last September and enjoyed it. You do get a good view of the fireworks and as for value I am not sure I suppose it depends on how you look at it . DH thought it wasn't worth the money but I enjoyed the experience. We only had a couple of desserts each as we don't eat a lot of sweets so in that sense it wasn't really worth it but I loved watching the fireworks from there. I would definately do it again but I know DH wouldn't.

we did it last year, we really enjoyed the experiance, but it was expensive I would love to do it again DH is not so sure

we did it last year

really really enjoyed it ... it was Easter week and very busy so a quiet calm spot for an hour or so with some lovely treats was worth the money in my opinion :)

we did it in 2009 when the price was alot cheaper and it was good for the price, not sure i would pay the price now for it

We also went in 2009...the price seems to have shot up and I'm not sure I would spend that much.

We did enjoy it...DD loved the chocolate strawberrys:thumbsup2

here are some of our photos

We did it in 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We paid approx $25 a head (they hiked it up a bit for Christmas) and I think it was well worth that but wouldn't pay more than $30 a head. The desserts were yummy and it was such a lovely way to see Holiday Wishes on a freezing cold night as they put heaters on the terrace.

We have done it twice now and enjoyed the experience, but like lots of others, I don't think its worth the price they are charging now.

Hi, I treated the family to it last year, it was great but not sure if would do it again.

I did the party when it first came out and it was fun, but unless you want to experience it for the sake of trying it out, there are so many great spaces to watch the fireworks for free that I don't recommend it. You will need to make reservations ahead of time if you go. In fact, for the money you'll spend you could almost pay for a meal at California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort and watch the fireworks from there or go have drinks and an appetizer at the Poly and then watch the fireworks from the beach.

does anyone know if it is the area as the prefered viewing offered to Disney guests:cloud9:

Not something I would consider but I could never get that kind of value from desserts. I only nibble at the dessert or chocolate buffets on the cruises, I am definitely a savoury person.

I'd absolutely LOVE to do this! I live for cake/puddings lol

I have such a sweet tooth, so it would be great for me, however I'm not sure DF would go.

One day I will be united with the desserts! :cloud9:

anybody else got any photo's? I'm keen to see them...

thank you. :thumbsup2

That all looks delicious! I'm going to have to put the dessert party on my to do list. I need to be where them desserts are! :goodvibes

btw what are them white & chocolate balls in the top pic?

We did this in 2009. As previous posters have stated I'm glad we've done it for the experience but won't opt to do it again.

The view of the fireworks is okay, and it saves you having to "pitch" a spot in advance but you can get much better views of wishes around Main Street, IMO.

I also think that the price they are charging now is extremely poor value for money, you'd have to eat some serious desserts to get your moneys worth.

thank you. :thumbsup2

chocolate truffles - like you get in boxes of chocolates - they were scrummy :D

When we went at the end of 2009 the "preferred area" was below the Tomorrowland Noodle Station and slightly to the left when looking at the castle. To be honest, we didn't think the preferred area was that good, there were trees in the way so the view wasn't that good for seeing the projections on the castle. We're going back in May  and have booked the dessert party for the first time as the view looked better from there and probably won't use the preferred area this time.

I am hopeing to attend the dessert party this October for the first time , those pictures just added to my desire to book it
