I just realized after dozens of trips we have never been on this ride...3 questions??

1) is there scenery to look at such as staged things or unique spots of the MK?

2) any difference in a day or night ride?

3) Hubby is 6'3 will he have enough leg room?

Thanks in advance an have a magical day!

There is scenery and "road signs" along the way

As far as I can remember, it's just the difference between it being light and dark; it is well lit at night.

He'll probably be okay as the cars are very wide, so he can stretch across.

The Disneyland version (Autopia) is much more scenic, but I still enjoy TS.

I do enjoy seeing Space Mtn lit up at night.

Yes. He'll be fine.

He'll fit fine. It's not height that can be a challenge as much as weight. I've seen some rather "pooh sized" people struggle to fit well in the car. They can get in, but it looks uncomfy.

Just note that at 6'3" he'll have to be limber to get in and out. It's quite low to the ground and a tough climb out.

Probably the more important thing to know is to not have any inflated expectations for this ride.

About as basic a “time-user-upper” as you can get.

Think, “riding lawn mower with a bad muffler on a sidewalk” and you’ll have it pegged.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond...

Thanks, wow maybe we will just skip it :>

For what it’s worth, I prefer this ride at night, just because there is no cover, and in the full sun, waiting to park your car can get pretty brutal.

I'm 6'5" and fit fine but it is a little awkward to get in and out of.

We love it at night, we've done it during the day once and would never do it again.

It’s hot, so be aware of that. Decor is just like you’d imagine of a speedway, road signs and such. I don’t recall much Disney character theming, no special views, etc. A PP was right, it is like being on a riding lawn mower, but it was one of my favorite moments from our last trip. My oldest son LOVED it, it’s a must-do on our next trip. FWIW, my 6’1 ex husband rode with our then 5 y/o daughter and 7 y/o son in the same car, and he didn’t complain about being more cramped than expected. I was pretty heavy last time, and rode with the 9y/o, no complaints, but I’m only 5’4.

Its not on our must do list.
If you have never done it, it is worth doing once. Kids love it. As an adult, its meh.
Riding lawnmower with a bad muffler is a good analogy. The gas fumes are also bad. With Tron coming, hopefully they retheme it to electric.

Yes, riding mower with a bad muffler does fit the description. Except the riding mower will actually steer far better...or at all. :D

Having said that, I still do enjoy the ride, it's a fun time killer. DS10 loves it.
