Do they still give out an "Official Speedway License" to kids when they ride Tomorrowland Speedway?

I don't think so. I have never seen this.

You know, we just got back about 5 weeks ago from an 18 night stay and I wondered the same thing.

We rode the Speedway numerous times this last trip and also last year in October and never got a license. The last time we got one was in 2010 - in fact I seem to recall that we were given one almost every time we rode. I guess they have either stopped getting them or they figured we didn't deserve one recently

I read a blog post by Jack Spence on AllEars.net and he does mention them (post was from this past Sept.) He says to ask a CM for one if they don't give one to you. Of course, I don't know if he actually got one on that visit or if he's assuming that on previous experience. I've never seen them given out, but I didn't even know about them until I read about them.

Yes they do - but you have to ask - It was one of the highlights of my 9 years olds visit (go figure)

We have been handed the numerous times without asking! Both at the entrance and when entering the ca!

On our last trip, last November, two of our kids got one but one did not. I had thought they had forgotton one - I didn't know to ask. We'll make sure to ask on our next trip!

we just returned and we rode twice but was only offered once the license. Also a FYI, we are a family of 5 ( 3 boys under 7) so I rode with 2 boys and they put a purple flag on our car so when we got back the boys could switch drivers and go around again. I never knew this and the first time we rode the CM asked me if I wanted to switch but the second time I had to ask for the purple flag.
