Here now, did this experience Saturday night, and wanted to give a little review of how it was. We've done the fantasmic dessert package back when they had that, and the woc dessert...so definitely wanted to check this out. It was awesome to have a table/seat, and the view was nice. They say you can come and go for the 2 hours you're there, but mostly everyone just stayed put. The food/drinks were more buffet style than the other experiences. You were checked in, grabbed a prepackaged box of dessert(which was pretty tasty), drink, and were seated. Drinks are unlimited so you can get up and grab more. Mickey and Minnie stopped by for a visit to each table. They did bring around blankets for everyone to keep cozy. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. My two complaints....you cannot hear the audio for the fireworks show. It would be much nicer if you could hear that. Also, my daughter has a peanut allergy. Her "dessert" box was lame! Celery, carrots (with some sort of dip) grapes, strawberries with chocolate sauce, stale rice cake triangles, gummies bears.
By far, the woc package was nicest, did cost about double. I'd do this again maybe....was a nice experience, but the desserts(even in the regular box) were probably my least favorite of the packages I've tried.

I thought I saw somewhere that they may pipe in the fireworks music at some point. It will be interesting to see if that part changes. I agree that would make a difference for fireworks viewing.

I can't imagine not having the firework music piped in...definitely reconsidering our reservation for next month

Thanks for the information. I am always tempted to try a Disney Desserts parties, but I have food allergies and I worry that I will end up disappointed and sad at the offerings.... and I am pretty sure this box would have left me disappointed and sad.

Without the music being piped in, you might as well watch it from one of the hotels on Harbor. I had about the same view without the cost or the crowds. Thanks for the review! I'm glad we didn't do it (our son has a peanut allergy, too, and would have been very disappointed), but maybe someday if they start piping the music.

Hi, I was at this as well on Saturday.

I enjoyed it, the blankets were welcome. The fireworks were nice, great view I thought, it seemed there were fireworks going off in tomorrowland too. Mickey and Minnie were great as well. Food was kind of meh.

But yeah, you could barely hear the audio for fireworks, which was biggest negative, and it's a big negative.

Desert party is way better, even taking the cost difference into account.

Thanks for sharing this. Will have to check it out. We did WOC dessert party and loved everything about it except for the desserts themselves - lots of wasted food there. On our next trip, we did Ariel's Grotto dining package and actually really enjoyed this as well as the closer view of the water. We also did the Aladdin's OTG MSEP package; food was terrible, but the location was nice - unfortunately the fireworks were cancelled that night.

Thanks for the this. If I cannot hear the audio for the fireworks it is not worth it at all. I was considering doing this but it seems not worth it.

Oops. Wrong thread. Deleted.

The no sound seems like a huge oversight on Disney's part. Any sort of assigned fireworks show seating that I can think of (outside of Disney), has always included whatever audio accompanies the show. It's not terribly difficult to do. Otherwise, as someone said - hang out in your hotel on Harbour with a bag of M&Ms.

It's really weird because when we were there on the first night, there was a tech guy there working on getting music in the "lounge".
