another question from an east coaster. The skyline lounge experience - I can’t get my head wrapped around if we would be able to see all the cool projections for the Pixar fireworks show. Anyone know?

I do not believe you will be able to see any projections from that location based on review from of previous fireworks a few months ago.

I was not on the elevated platform where they do the skyline lounge, but I was on the ground near it when the fireworks were going on the last time I was there. I do not believe you would have any chance of seeing the projections. That being said, it's still a good place to see the fireworks without having to fight crowds if you don't care so much about the projections.

As the pps have said, the Skyline Lounge really has no view of the castle, so no view of those projections. Doing the Lounge experience for fun is fine, but doing it just for the sake of the fireworks is, in my opinion, not worth the money. You can get a similar (no castle) view for free from the tables (Nemo side) at the Galactic Grill looking toward the Matterhorn.
