We ate here on our first trip in December 2005, but it's been closed on our past two trips (December 2006 and December 2007). Does anyone know what the story is with this CS restaurant? Any chance it might be open in December 2008?

Thanks for any info you can share!
:goodvibes

We have never seen it open--we've been in April and September...and it has never been open.

It may be open in December depending on when you are there. For example, last December it was supposed to be open from the 23rd - 31st of December. It also usually opens in March or April through the summer months.

It was NOT open over Labor Day weekend so it would have to be a very busy time for them to open it.

I went there for dinner on my birthday (June 20th). The food was certainly nothing to write home about -- a combination of okay-ish chinese take-out options and things like chicken strips. Because I was wearing a birthday button, I got a free chocolate cake cup (good) as well as serenaded by the entire restaurant (less great -- I'm shy!). My feeling about it is that if I'm really hungry and right there, I'd eat there again. Otherwise, I think I'd prefer to go someplace else.

DH has whined for years that he wants to eat there (not sure why). We have occasionally seen a sign advertising that it is open from 5 PM - 9 PM but we always have ADRs for dinner. Finally on our August trip I got sick and ended up staying in the room one night. DH and DS decided not to go to our dinner ADR - they ate at Noodle Station. They said it was "pretty good" but they are not picky! It really isn't open very often and I have never heard anyone say they think the food is fabulous.

Thanks for the info! We really liked the tofu noodle bowl in 2005. But there sure are plenty of other CS options, so we won't starve! :thumbsup2

Don't order the chicken ceasar salad here. Yuk! (Best chicken ceasar salad on property is Artist Palette at SSR!)
