Tomorrowland Dessert Party

Does anyone know if you can view the evening parade from the Tomorrowland Terrace? We have reservations for the
dessert party just before Wishes during MVMCP and would like to be seated and view the parade from there also, if possible.

Great news – the A-lister spot for Magic Kingdom fireworks watching, the Tomorrowland Terrace private dessert party, has been extended until Dec. 29. Oh, these gorgeous fall and early winter days are such a delight for playing all day in the Magic Kingdom, then relaxing with an abundance of sweets while the sky fills with spectacular fireworks.

The party happens most nights – and you can head over to the lower level of the terrace an hour ahead of scheduled fireworks for plenty of time for the sweet buffet and beverages (no alcohol – this is the Magic Kingdom!).

Make your reservations at 407-WDW-DINE or at any resort front desk, concierge, Guest Relations or restaurant table-service location. If you don’t have reservations, you can walk up and try for a coveted spot, but it’s first come, first served. A Magic Kingdom park ticket is required. (Sorry, can’t use the Disney Dining Plan.)

We attended the Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party in October this year. The parade is somewhat difficult to see from that distance because the crowd on the side of Main Street blocks the lower half of the floats. While you will be able to see the upper parts of the taller floats, all activity at street level (characters walking, dancers, etc) will not be seen.

You can see the floats from a distance. You cannot see anything that takes place at street level.

Thanks so much for the info. Any suggestion as to where to view the parade and make it to Tomorrowland Terrace for our 8:40 reservation would be much appreciated.
