Well I start my new job tomorrow so wish me luck:hippie:
Since I had to pass my background check and drug test before I could get access to the complex it is located on I didn't get any kind of facility tour or meet any of the people I will be working with. Other than Maintenance I realy have no idea what I will be doing. Needless to say I am a bit apprehensive since I have never taken a job sight unseen.:scared1:
I just keep telling myself it is more money and will allow us to put money back for my Mouse Addicition:thumbsup2
I have allready instructed DW that the first priority is Disney money:cheer2:

So here's to hoping it is atleast tollerable if not good I don't want to be stuck somewhere terrible just for the money:sick:

Good luck, :thumbsup2 let us know how your first day goes.

Thanks
Got the lake and the boat but not sure if I have a pole:confused3
I used to go fishin with my Grandpa when I was young but when he died I lost intrest. I guess it was one of thoes things we shared and without him it wasn't enjoyable anymore:sad1:
Here is a picture of the lake from our deck sorry about the snow but you can't see it very well when the leaves are on the trees.

I wish you lots of luck! Just remember the current catch phrase..... "I GOT A JOB!!!" If this turns out to be something you're not happy with, quote the phrase. It beats the alternative!

Thanks I will let everyone know tomorrow.
If DW would just get thoes numbers right I would be living in your neck of the woods and and wouldn't have to worry about it.:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

If Frank lived in that house I can see him making a rope and pulley system so he could fish from the deck. :lmao:

Well I made it through the first day:thumbsup2
The place seems tolerable but I don't think I will ever love it. Oh well it is a job and it pays better than the last one.:wizard:
Now on to the big stuff first priority Disney Money:dance3::cheer2:

Glad you made it thru day one. These days, tolerable is about the best most of us can hope for in our jobs.

Just keep your eyes on the paycheck! I worked for the telco for 30 years and loathed my last 10 years. Patience has its' rewards. The only two things I miss from the telco are my paycheck (triple what I make now) and the fact I had 6 weeks paid vacation. Would I go back if given the opportunity? Oh, HECK NO!!! Hang in there until you either win the lottery or replace current job with a better one!

Thanks that's what I am going to do for now just try to look at the money.
I honestly never thought I would say something like that but things change:confused3
It is a big change from anything I have ever done before since I am basicly working in an industrial factory.
You have to park about a quater mile from where you work and walk in so even going back to the car durring the day isn't an option. Also there isn't an area that is mine. The only thing you have of your own is what you cary in in your lunch box.
I have allways had a service truck or my personal work space that was my home away from home but this place is just a big industrial building with no personality just a lot of noise and large machines.

Well I am off for todays great adventure
Safety Training:banana:

And you can still go fishing, :thumbsup2

It's a shame you aren't closer I would invite you over to try to catch some of thoes things I see jump out of the water once in a while. Don't know what kind of fish they are but they look big and they make a prety good splash.

PS I am off for day three:banana:
