our dd will get married!
We are pretty excited and even more busy! LOL
I've been kinda emotional about it all week but I think I've got it under control. I don't mind a couple of tears during the ceremony, figure I can't avoid that, but I don't want a river, lol.
This is our only child, our precious little lady, exactly when did she grow up? I've been looking at all the pictures of her as a child I just can't figure out where the time went. Seems like yesterday I was taking her to school for the first time.
Oh my, maybe I don't have as much control as I thought.
But we really, really, like the young man she's going to marry. He has a good head on his shoulders, will be graduating college in two months, has a lot of common sense, and most of all he thinks he loves our daughter more than we do. He's wrong, of course, but I would never tell him that

Even if he loves her half as much as you do, she is in good hands. Congratulations. Enjoy the big day. Remember waterproof mascara is your friend. My mother (who had 4 of her own) will swear to you that being a grandmother even tops being a Mom, so look at it as you may have something to look forward to down the road.

Oh my gosh mom!! How you must feel... I still look at the pics of when I got married 14 years ago, and the teary-eyed look on my mom's face while I was putting her corsage on... She handled it VERY well until the actual time came.

I hope we'll get to see pics! Congratulations to your little girl and her groom!!

Congratulations to your DD & you!! My only DD is getting married in 2 months & I know what you mean about wondering when she grew up. I'm so happy for her & her future hubby. He is also a wonderful young man & is sooo sweet & good to her. I'm happy to say that my DD & I are great friends too & the wedding preps have been wonderful to share together. Awww congratulations Keli, it's only natural to be emotional sweetie....afterall mothers and their daughters anticipate and dream of this day all their lives.

May tomorrow be the beginning of many happy years for your sweet Ashli and her DH, Matt . Hard to believe, many of feel like we watched her grow up here, I remember your post a few years back saying she finally met the love of her life !!
