I haven't done this since 2014 and then we only booked a couple.

This time I'm booking for each day!!!

Should I prepare to be disappointed that I won't be able to get any of these? For late October...

Wed - Skipper Canteen at 6:30 pm
Thursday - The Wave at 1:40 (lunch)
Friday - Ohana at 8:45 pm
Sunday - Kona at 9:30 am and California Grill at 7:30 pm
Monday - Chefs De Frances at 6:00 pm
Tuesday - Sanaa at 5:30 pm
Wednesday - The Boathouse at 7:00 pm
Thursday - The Wave at 10:00 am

Ohana and Cali are the harder ones to get but if it is your 180 days out, you should be able to get them within an hour of your requested time.

Edited to say that the only ressie that I have ever had a hard time getting was BOG. And eventually, I got that too so get what you can and try to tweak it as you go if the times are not exact :( Good luck!

I agree with PP. Book Ohana first then Cali. The rest shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys! I can go online at 5 am tomorrow morning (Chicago time) to book. Will do Ohana first and then California Grill. :)

I don't think you'll have issues with any of them. As @amccu18007 said, BoG is probably the hardest I've ever had to get. Chef Mickey's is another. Never tried to get California Grill, but had no issues with Ohana. I even completely forgot to book our meals until like 4-5 hours after I could.

Good advice previously.

Ohana (I finally got it on my third trip!), Cali Grill, then Kona. The rest should be no problem.

Have a a great time!!

So I have been slacking because I don't know what time I can call and make my reservations? Tomorrow is the day. Do most of you call or do it online and do you have any tips? Do you just go day by day?

Online is 6AM, Calling on phone is 7AM. If you are onsite, and tomorrow is your first day your 180 day window opens to book, you'll be able to book for your entire stay. If you're offsite, you've got to go online or call each day since each day opens otherwise one day at a time, 180 days in advance. I like booking it online.
Tomorrow is my day too :) good luck and have fun!

Thanks so much! And I am assuming the times are EST?

Yeap totally agree, but if you have difficulty with any of them, keep checking back but don't get crazy about it, I find most of the harder to get ones (believe it or not) I've been able to get the day before...:) (because most people do not want to pay that charge for not canceling;) and will wait until the last minute to cancel because it won't work in their schedule)...good luck!

I didn't update yesterday but I also got everything I wanted at the times I wanted, plus grabbed a BOG lunch just in case!

The only one I had to change the time was for Skipper Canteen, I wanted 6 but had to take 5 for dinner. That's okay as it's our first night and we may be hungry earlier. :)
