Hi friends,

I am considering taking my parents (mid 50s) and sibling (mid 20s) on a very very very last minute trip from Boston to Orlando....this weekend! from tomorrow, 6/7 to 6/9.

-We have been to Orlando and the parks a few years ago
- We would like to see WDW, Universal and maybe an animal park/water park
- Do we need a car? If so, any deals?
- Any nice chain hotel that is centrally located to the parks that we can stay in at this last minute?
- Is this too last minute? Airfare from Boston to Orlando on Air Tran is ~250pp RT

Thanks a lot for your help,

Wow! That is definitely jumping right in! I am sure you can do it, but you need to be on the phone getting your plane tix ( be sure the price you are looking at doesn't require a 14 day advance purchase, many good prices do) and getting hotel ressies. I am not familiar with off Disney properties in Orlando but I am guessing you can just start typing in the names of popular chains in google and seeing who has availability. You could probably even get a room on Disney property. We have several hotels as board sponsers that also offer discounts.

I would think if you are going to do several parks and stay off property you would want a rental car. Again, check the major car rental websites, many offer last minute weekend rates. If you want to do a Disney water park and Animal Kingdom as your animal park then you may want to just stay on Disney Property, use their Magical Express bus to get from the airport to WDW (I think they can still let you on if you have called ahead, but I could be wrong) and then take a towncar or taxi or even the city bus to Universal. 3 days is really not very much time to see all you have listed, so you may need to pick just the 2 or 3 things you most want to do.

HTH.:)

Hope everything works out. I would love to be able to hop on a plane and go last minute. Seems like a challange I would like to take.
