Hi I'm traveling to Disney the end of August and have a reservation for the dessert party at the magic kingdom. I've only just learned there is an expansion on the hub and wondered if anyone knows how much this could affect our viewing of the fireworks, if any. Thank you in advance for any information.

I'm interested to know this too... Our dessert booking is on the 2nd of September! Hadn't even thought of the expansion :confused3

Hi just to update I have received a very quick reply from Disney, took 30 minutes, and they have said there are no restrictions to viewing. I'm very surprised at the quick response and thought I should let you all know. Thanks

Get there early, half an hour before the opening time, I didn't and when I got there fifteen minutes after opening they had messed the table seating up and my alloted table was given to someone else by mistake and for some reason there were no tables available (???) by the time they sorted me out, over half an hour, there were hardly any desserts left as they stop replenishing them just as the fireworks start and I had to rush what I did get as they were clearing up, the view was fantastic and you get a great view of MSEP or Spectromagic, if they are running. I did complain to Disney and got a refund, but, I would have preferred to have had the experience I had originally paid for instead.
