Tommorrow (March 8) will be difficult

It will be the one-year anniversary of my maternal grandmother's death. To make matters worse my grandfather predeceased her and her heirs decided to sell thier house. I have so many memories of holidays in their house

No hugs please, I'm not an affectionate person. Please remember me and my family in your prayers in the next fews days.

You are i n my thoughts. try to look at all the positive things she gave to you, those are things (memories that no one can ever sell of take away from you. I'm not a huggy person either so a mild smack on the arm to let you know that you are being thought about.

I'll be thinking of you. I can relate to how you're feeling. My maternal grandmother died last June. I still think of her almost every day. Sometimes people don't understand how close of a bond you can have with a grandparent, and how painful it can be to lose them. Just because they may have been very old, doesn't make the loss of them any less painful. Rejoice in your memories.

My thoughts are with you, as I know exactly how you feel. I was extremely close to my maternal grandparents and spent a lot of time with them while I was growing up, and even after getting married and becoming a mother I still did. It was really hard when they had to sell their home on the lake and move into a senior citizen apartment building. So many wonderful memories in that house. To this day I can close my eyes and "see" the house and "go inside" and remember.....

My Grandparents have been gone several years, I still miss them, still think about them often, and I will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of time spent with them.
