:)Anyone else have an over abundance. First time ever for me. Usually we eat whatever comes off and never even have to worry. This time, my plants turned into a jungle and I am over-loaded with tomatoes..

All suggestions and recipes welcome. Diane

Have you considered canning? I just canned tomatoes for the first time this summer. It was very easy (although a bit time consuming). Now we'll have garden-ripe tomatoes in the dead of winter.

More of a freezer type person. Never canned before. I was hoping on some good tomato sauce (freezer) recipes..

I have 43 tomatoes and a huge bowl of cherry tomatoes....

YUM! Send them my way! There is nothing better than homegrown tomatoes! I haven't grown any, but maybe next year. We have lots of deer, rabbits, etc, do you ever have trouble with animals (deer, rabbits) eating them? Clearly not this year!

Homemade salsa freezes well. So does tomato-based veggie soup. In fact, that is what I am making right now! :cool1:
