Tomato and Mozzerella Salad?

Anyone know where in WDW I can get a Tomato and Mozzerella Salad? I was addicted to the one they had at Panera Bread this summer, and would love to have one in Disney.

You're in luck .... you'll find one around every corner at Disney World! Pretty much every buffet has a tomato / mozzarella salad and several restaurants offer it as an appetizer. Off the top of my head I know it's served at the new Tutto Italia in Epcot.

Thanks! Good to know! I've eaten in many places in WDW, but never noticed the salad before(only cause I wasn't looking for it) Hopefully, they will have it at one of the places I made ADR's at.

Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavillion at Epcot has it in the grab & go cases.
Earl of Sandwich also offers a couple of different variations -- Caprese salad (for the purist) and an Antipasto salad (includes roasted red peppers and pignoli).

If you want a tomato & mozzarella sandwich, both Earl of Sandwich and Main St. Bakery have tasty ones.

The new menu at Spoodles has a Tomato-Buffalo Mozzarella Panzanella Salad. To die for!!!!

I had this at Mama Melrose's and it was very delicious!

"Mozzarella and Tomatoes - with marinated sweet onions, balsamic drizzle, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil"

We had one at Concourse steakhouse in the CR as an appetizer. It was really good.

I had one at the California Grille in September. It was TDF!

The one at Le Cellier is more of a beefsteak tomato salad with a few pearl mozzarella bites, but it is the best on property because the tomatoes taste like they are right off the vine. The one I had a Mama Melrose was the worst. The mozarella was tasteless and rubbery and the tomatoes were definitely not off the vine. Think tasteless and mealy. Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace had them, and they were good, but not as good as Le Cellier's.
I didn't try any of the other restaurants for the Caprese, aka tomato Mozzarella Salad.

Interesting. I thought the tomato I had at Mama Melrose this month was wonderful. It was the only fresh tomato I had that trip so I can't compare it to other places

This may sound like an odd question... but can you order something "to go" at any of the TS restarants. I would love to get one of these salads, but do not want to waste time on TS on our days in the parks. I am hoping to get one and then join my DH and DS to eat whatever they get!

Tomato & Mozzarella Salad

from Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Disney-MGM Studios

3 oz yellow tomatoes, sliced ¼ “ thick
3 oz red tomato, sliced ¼” thick
¼ oz basil, whole
¼ oz red onion slices
1 oz mozzarella cheese, diced
¼ oz balsamic reduction (see below)
¼ oz black pepper – fresh ground

Alternate the tomatoes and place 2 slices of onion and cheese on top.
Drizzle with balsamic reduction and lightly sprinkle with pepper.

Balsamic Reduction
Reduce balsamic vinegar by 2/3 and cool.

They also had one at Yachtsmen Steakhouse, but that was in 2004, so I'm not sure if it's still there, I had the one at Concourse this past September tho, and it was pretty good.
