I used a pacifier until I was like seven and still turned out fine. Although people do tell me I suck.
Awwww she is cute.
Too bad her dad is a freak.
I see LOTS of kids her age and older being carried or pushed around in strollers at WDW.
KITTYCRUIZE- I agree with you 100%. I never took my kids pacifiers or bottles away from them before they wanted. Now a days, parent's get all uptight about their kids having blankies, bottles or pacifiers. These things soothe them, why take them away? My son, who is almost 3, still has a binkie (at times) and it really comforts him. He also still has a milk bottle in the morning and before he goes to bed. I love holding and cuddling him when he has his bottles and he will just let me hold him for a while after he has his bottles, he loves being cuddled. I am in no rush to take away the things that make my children feel comforted. My 2 older 9 year olds, gave up their pacifiers and bottles when they were almost 4, and it did them no harm.
Really??? I find this annoying. Sure, they're "famous" but I hate to see that type of special treatment. I can understand if they usher famous people around to avoid crowds flocking to them, but roping off an area like that is absurd.
Does anyone else think that all of these public sightings (Tom and Suri in WDW and Katie and Suri in NYC) are just PR ploys to make them look like "average people" trying to spend time with their daughter? I know I'm a mere commoner, but I just don't understand the PR crap. I think if they just acted like normal people, the PR people wouldn't have to work so hard.
Hope they are having a great time, but does this child ever walk!?! I swear in almost every picture I see, she's being carried. She's 6... put her down!!
Were they in WDW only one day?
If so, how many outfit did she have on? Because so far, I've seen her in two different outfits.
Also - put that kid down and rent stroller!
Tom took Suri last fall to DisneyLand, and over a year ago they were there the day before Daytona 500.Yep! The pic I saw was of them walking down a sidewalk in the park. I think they do use the backstage access most of the time, but make sure they are photographed in the parks to get the articles written about the trip so the world will know what a "great" Dad he is.
Nope, but you can pay for more hours, or more services. We had a conference in Orlando at the Ritz, and I saw a VIP CM pick up a family and she took a limo with the family to the parks. When we stayed at the Yacht Club last year, we saw some CM's again picking up a family. Most meet their tour guide CM's in the park.So this looks like the Tiki Room? That fits with what people said about their being in Adventureland.
Anyone know, who are the people with them? The lady is Tom's sisterDisney CMs? Their own entourage?Anyone can pay for VIP CM's. Usually the VIP CM has on blue pants a white shirt and a checkered vest.
Do celebrities like them pay extra for the VIP treatment they get?
...Since I know a child of a now-late famous person, and KNOW how messed up his and his sister's (and their much older half-siblings') lives were *despite all that money*, I know how wrong you are, that having money can somehow make things better when your life has been ripped apart by parents separating. When his dad died, people actually said "well at least you have an inheritance". Because, you know, money means you don't miss your father.
This IS her normal life. At least her parents don't hide her from the world, carry her under a blanket, etc etc...they take her out in the world like normal people do, she gets vacations, she gets to see and do fun things... This IS normal for a child of very famous parents...
!
That little girl has never been able to go outside a day in her life without paparazzi pointing cameras at her and flashes popping. I think both her parents try to shield her from that. She's always got a blankie with her too, even at this age. She has grown up knowing how to look down and avoid the photographers.
I'm glad they take them through the back. Can you imagine the riot that would ensue if they were just standing in line at Peter Pan trying to mind their own business. Impossible.
