Hi! I am doing the 50th Mickey Quest and I can't figure out how to get to the mickey on Tom Sawyer Island. How do you get to the top of the island?

You have to go in & out of the Thunder Mountain Cave rooms in the right order. It has been a while & I'm not logged in right now, but....

Never mind...I tried to write it down, but give me a minute & I'll log in & take you!

Come to Big Thunder Mountain Noreth-East in advanced mode. Piratesmate is waiting for you.

Just in case you miss me....

From Big Thunder Mtn go into the cave in the middle (not the one under the train trestle)
Then you come out on the little ledge on the right of the screen. Go right back in.

Next go to the water/mine chute & slide down it. If you put your cursor over it, you should see a yellow prompt.

That brings you out at the top of the next cave. Go out the top right.

You'll be standing in the center entrance/exit on the right. Go back inside.

You should now be standing inside the little shed in the middle of the screen. Go out & down. Exit the cave room from the left side.

You should be standing on Tom Sawyer Island now.

I've only done this once, but recently, and I don't think you can get there through Big Thunder. Have to take the monorail, closest departure is behind the skull in the lava room (can't remember exact title, but you know .. where river runs red). Get off at first exit after that, Frontierland, and exit out of monorail station and you'll be there.

This is lower level than the portion going through the mountain maze.

This gets me to the R side of the island, but I cannot get over to the cave. Is there a way to the cave from here?

This puts you on the right hand side of the river. If you want to be on the left hand side, you have to go through the maze. There is a guide for the maze in the players guide. If you are unable to find it - post here and someone will help you.
