My son is 7, has spina bifida and will be using a w/c at WDW. At home, he is a community ambulator and uses the chair once or twice a month (at the mall, etc...). I think he would love Tom Sawyer island, but the description I read says it is not accessible. Is that the raft or the island itself? Do they allow strollers (we also have two toddlers). How much walking is required to "play" at the island? Could we leave the chair where we board the raft? Just want a heads up so I don't talk up the island to my kids if it's not for us.
Thanks!
