Tom Morrow is back (TTA)

They have him behind the curtain now, so we'll have to see...

Sadly, he was lit back up on monday doing the Saturday night special. The rumored 'attempted fixes' of last week must not have worked since he is boogey-ing away the days again.

For those who aren't familiar with "Paging Mr. Morrow,Mr. Tom Morrow",the rest of the "spiel" is "Your Party from Saturn has arrived,please give them a ring."CLASSIC Disney World!

Hey, maybe that petition helped! Some of us here signed a petition and then I sent it over.awesome that they brought back Tom Morrow.

i didn't sign your petition (i didn't see it, or i would've). but, i did send an email complaining. i know others did too. i hope this update is true and that disney really listens.

of course, i guess we're still missing the forward-facing tentacles announcement. but at least tom morrow is a step in the right direction!

Can see them now saying "the complaints are about losing Tom Morrow, put Tom Morrow back and they'll stop complaining"

I agree. A little is better then nothing, but still, bring it all back!!

That's great to hear! Our first time at WDW was this past April, and we had gotten our girls the Guide to the Magic book for Kids. This phrase was in the book and my girls were constantly trying to figure out where in the world we would hear it. They will be excited to know that next time we go, we could possibly hear it!!!

Technically, this is not true. The current spiel is the 3rd TTA spiel, and it actually sounds a lot like the original, where the previous one was completely different.

If anything, the current spiel is the more classic if you're comparing it to the last one. That said, I do love Paging Mr Morrow, and I do miss "Rocket-Ship your package anywhere in the galaxy." Good thing we have youtube these days

Yes,I am very aware that is not the first spiel.

I still consider it Classic Disney World just like the other 2.

Also,even though TTA was "once" the Wedway People Mover,I,personally consider BOTH of them Classic Disney World.

This news definitely put a smile on my face - fabulous!!!! I did like the previous TTA recording better than the current one but I agree - this is a step in the right direction.

I loved the "forward facing tentacles" part too! I miss that, but I am very happy they put Mr Tom Morrow back where he belongs!

I'm so happy that Tom is back! On our last trip every time we rode the TTA we had to say the lines ourselves.
