We are leaving on Thursday and driving from PA to Cape Canaveral, Florida for our Disney cruise. Are there any tolls we'll need to pay? We are coming down I95 until we pick up 528. If there are tolls, can we pay cash or do we need a Sun Pass (I believe that is what it is called)?
Thanks!

If you are coming down I-95, there are no tolls going into Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area, 528 is not a toll road east of I-95 (it is a toll road going west from I-95 to Orlando)

yes ... this is correct .... no tolls on 528 east of 95.

actually to be more accurate the first toll (west bound) is at DALLAS Road, so you CAN take 528 west of 95 to 520 and encounter no tolls.
(so you can go west on 528, to 520 and take that to 50, to get to downtown Orlando sans tolls)

Just wondering, for those who have tolls, how do you get a Surpass if you're from out of state?

If you have enough lead time, you can order directly from the Sunpass website, shipping is free and fast (arrived in only 7 business days to Canada, probably way quicker within the USA)
https://www.sunpass.com/index
Also available at Walgreens, CVS, Publix and a few other locations if you want to pick up when you arrive in Florida or don't have time to order before you leave.

FWIW Kiki, tolls in the main Orlando area (that the OP won't have), like the one shown on the map going west towards WDW/Uni are payable in cash. The toll booths are like exits, so you have to get off the main road, pay the toll, and get right back on. I carry a roll of quarters and several ones specifically for tolls on 528 and 417.

But you have to BUY one at the price and add $ to it. Right?
Yes, you have to load at least $10 to start

If you are staying in the Orlando and central Florida area, the majority or the toll roads still have booths where you can pay the toll with cash to an attendant of with change in an exact change cash lane.
The Sunpass is not required in these areas, it is just a little more convenient and there is a small discount off the tolls.
Now if you are venturing further south, like the Miami area, the toll roads are strictly cashless which means using your own Sunpass transponder or using the rental agencies tolling option.
