According to google directions, heading west on I 64 @ Richmond and connecting to I 81 then I 84 into Ct. results in only one toll ($1.65) at the Newburgh/Beacon bridge in New York....this sounds like a good option....Added bonus of bypassing DC, Baltimore, NJTpke and G.Washington bridge...Hopefully some of you here can use this info as well...

My question would be, what is the time and distance cost of taking this route.

My question would be, what is the time and distance cost of taking this route.

Google says its an extra two hours but that's discounting DC, Baltimore, NJTpke and GW bridge traffic which from my experience would be at least an added hour at minimum.....you'd have to make that call.....
