Toll Road and $1 Coins

Does anyone know if the exact change baskets at the tolls take the $1 coins? For some reason we have a ton of them...

I wouldn't do it. I would take them to the bank and change them into quarter rolls.

I would expect them to accept dollar coins without any problems. The cash lanes are the exact type of application that the coins were designed for.

The cash only lanes do NOT take the $1 coins (quarters dimes and nickels only)
The manned toll booths will however accept them.
