Toll road 429 ???

I will be traveling south along 75 and will need to get on toll road 429. How much is the toll from 75 to Western way? How is the toll paid? I have zero experience driving on toll roads so i want to know before i get on 429. Is there a better way to go or is it much faster to take the toll road? Thanks for any info.

Total toll is $3.75: one toll of $2.50 on the Turnpike, and one toll of $1.25 on the 429.

If you have the exact amounts in quarters, you can save a bit of time by going through the exact change lanes and tossing the quarters in the basket; but both toll plazas have 24-hour attended lanes to make change.

On the 429, the main highway lanes thru the toll plaza are for electronic toll payment only; follow the signs to exit on the right to the cash lanes. On the turnpike, just make sure you stay out of the lanes marked "SunPass Only".

The Turnpike & 429 are easily the fastest way into WDW from the NW.

Thanks, The last time i went i drove through all the towns to stay off the turnpike but it took over an hour. It worth $3.75 to save 30 minutes or more.
