Toll experience with Dollar rent a car.

Does anyone have any toll advice for Dollar rent a car. We were planning on just paying out of pocket for the tolls. Should we sign up for something though them? Or is there a transponder on the car we need to cover ? We are planning a couple of trips out of the world. Once to the space center and once to St. Augustine.

Pay cash and get a receipt. You don't sound like you'll be near the areas that require the transponder (Miami)

DEF keep all your receipts! After our last trip I got an unpaid toll bill for over $20 I paid EVERY toll, but I didnt have the receipts to prove it. I seriously felt like the rental co or someone was trying to scam us. I fought it and told them I wasnt giving them a dime. It all worked out and I didnt pay, but I will keep ALL receipts when paying tolls out of state now.

We go enough I just got my own Sunpass to not have to deal with the toll booths
