Toll charge increase

Toll charges on Orlando's expressways went up by 25 cents yesterday. We went through two toll plazas on the way here (South exit from the airport and down the 417) at $1 each, so that will now be $1.25 each.

According to the news and the Orlando Sentinel the increases are to help building more roads.

How do you pay for the Tolls?
Normally I fly into Sanford, but in May we are coming into Orlando. I seem to get mixed views of which is the best way down to the 192, (Emerald Island). I will have my mother following in a 2nd car so like to make sure we are 100% sure of the way we are goinga and also to make sure we have correct change for Toll. I am only used to the M6 Toll?

The toll plazas on the main carriageway are manned and will give you change. However on some of the exits you have to pay a toll and these are not manned so you will need exact change - just get some quarters when you stop at the first toll booth.

We're flying into Sanford and then driving onto POP - we've got Sat Nav but which is the best route?

Toll free roads route or Toll Roads and if so how much will we need altogether.
