Ok, we are landing in orlando, getting a minivan, driving to the Ron Jon's in cape canaveral, staying the night, cruising for 4 days, then driving to the poly, and then back to the airport. I have plugged in the addresses on mapquest for directions. However, Ron Jon's 1000 shorewood drive doesn't come up...all mapquest has is up to like 799 shorewood. I'm assuming I just travel a little farther down the same road. Has anyone taken the mapquest route and did it work just fine? Sometimes I do one on mapquest and one on yahoo, and they come up with different roads and I'm not sure why or which one is better.

Second, I know there will be tolls. Does anyone know the exact amount of tolls on each leg of our trip and how much change we will need? I've heard that some of the toll locations require exact change. Thanks for any help you can give.

Try randmcnally.com. I find they usually provide better information than mapquest. Good luck.

Ron Jon is in Cocoa Beach, not Cape Canaveral. I can't remember what the exact toll was, but it won't be more than $2 or $3 total I don't think.

You'll take the Beeline Expressway over from Orlando. It's highway number 428 or 528, not sure which. Just look for Beeline on the signs. Beeline will end at A1A and you have to turn right onto A1A to head toward Cocoa Beach. Ron Jon will be on your left not long after you turn onto A1A. Believe me, since I've passed it probably 1000 times in visits to my MIL's place in Cocoa Beach, you can NOT miss Ron Jon. It is probably the single tackiest looking building in all of Florida! It's also huge for a "surf shop". Also remember that there are the ubiquitous Ron Jon signs all over Florida directing you there.

If you are heading toward Port Canaveral after your visit to Ron Jon, just get back on A1A and head north toward the port from Ron Jon. There are plenty of signs directing you.

All the toll booths on the Beachline will be manned so you don't need to have exact change. BTW, it is now called the Beachline instead of the Beeline.

She is going to the resort, not the store. And even though I live in Brevard County, I have no clue when it comes to the Port. I always get us lost when going on DCL. :rotfl:

Okay I found these directions, hope they help:
From Orlando International Airport: Highway 528 East to Cape Canaveral and beaches. Take 'B' Cruise Terminal exit off Highway 528. Follow signs to 'B' Cruise Terminal. The entrance to the Ron Jon Caribe Resort will be on your right.
And tolls should be less than $2. I think there is one toll coming out of the Airport and then there is a $1.25 toll.

Thanks guys! Yes, Ron Jon Cape Caribe resort not the store. I will check out rand mcnally too.
