Toldya I'd be back..

Okay,so my best friend has been totally awesome since finding out about my cancer.
She freaked out at first,but then hung around to go out with me when I felt better or take care of me when I felt sick.
She goes to school everyday,and see's her other friends there everyday.
Well apparently some of her friends got mad at her for her being worried about me and telling them she was worried.
They also got mad at her for "not being able to hang out with us anymore.All you ever do is talk about and hang out with Sonya".

This I can tell you is a complete lie.
Every Friday night she goes to the football game and hangs out with her friends.
That's usually followed by hanging out with said friends on Sat. or Sun.

We're taking the same Algebra class this year so I ask her if she would help me this week?
I also ask her if she wanted to hang out and go shopping at one point before my surgery as it will be the last time I'll be able to walk for a while.

I ask her about Thursday Afternoon.(Bold is me,regular is Heidi)
how about today?
i've got soccer practice from 5-7.sorry.
okay how about friday?
(never answers)
how about saturday?
nope,going to six flags with vic and liz.
okay,sunday maybe?
probably hanging out with dan.

Ugh,I'm just agitated.
It may seem hypocritical of me,but I kinda feel like now I'm the one being ignored.
I found out she has Monday off of school,so if she asks to do something,I'll probably say,sorry I've got other plans.
Itseems like that's all she's been saying to me lately.

Gah,is it wrong of me to feel that way?

I think her friends have some serious problems. ( no offense ) You're sick, why shouldn't she hang out with you. There is a possibility she is distancing herself becasue she is afraid something might happen. (Not trying to scare you). My friend(1) is moving soon and our other friend(2) and him kind of distanced from each other. They didn't want to get to close because friend 1 is moving, yet at the same time they wanted to have as much fun before he moved. It's kind of like that. Just talk to her and explain how you feel. Not hanging out with her isn't going to solve anything. I hope it all works out.

Sonya she should set aside a day to be with you. God it will be the last time you are able to walk for awhile and get around. Some people can be so thick headed sometimes.

If I was you I would really let her know how important it is to you that you hang out at least once before your surgery.

I will go shopping with you on one of those days. I am free Tuesday evening. I will take you to the shops on Rodeo Drive.

Sadly,Tuesday evening will be spent in a Philadelphia Hotel Room.
I assume they expect me at 6am for surgery and there is NO way I'm waking up at 3am to drive down to Philly.

Ah,Rodeo Drive does sound nice though.

She said 'probably hanging out with Dan' for Sunday. She didn't have official plans yet, therefore she was technically free.

But I'm telling her it's sunday or nothing.
You're too busy for me saturday,and have school tuesday.
Well sorry but I'm packing on monday and I'll be in Wildwood on tuesday.
So either we hang out sunday,or we don't hang at all until I get back from the hospital in about 2 weeks.
