Another Sushi question: Has anyone on the DDP eaten at "TOKYO DINING" and, if so... what were your "options". I'm a pretty heavy eater, and if I'm only allowed a single "entree" order as my "dinner", I'll be hungry again by the time we get to "Italy" ! (LOL !) Suggestions or recommendations ?

I do not believe that Tokoyo Dining participates in the DDP. Teppan Edo does, but I do not think Tokoyo Dining does. You should check

According to the "2009 Disney Deluxe Dining Plan "PDF", Tokyo Dining does participate for both lunch and dinner. I know how great the "California Grill" is sushi... and, according to "CR Resort Fan 4 LIFE" (who I have a lot of faith in !), "...the Kona Island Sushi Bar at the Poly is amazing...." We normally stay at the CR, but we are staying at the BC, and our meals are kinda' planned out to be at different "nations", if you know wht I mean... so that's why I'm wondering about "Tokyo"....

I've asked this a few times and this is the answer I've gotten: Tokyo Dining is on the plan, but much of the sushi isn't. If you look at the menu at Allears, you'll see the combo entrees that are available (entrees/combinations/chef's feature/deep-fry/grill sections of the menu). There are also a couple of sushi samplers/combos from the sushi menu that are included, but the individual rolls are not.

We ultimately decided to wait and try Tokyo Dining when we're paying OOP, so that we can try what we want rather than what is covered on the plan. We'll get our sushi fix at California Grill and Kona where sushi is included as an appetizer.

Colleen27... THANK YOU so much for the response ! I was on the phone with a friend, who was telling me almost the exact same thing, as I was reading your reply. I'm beginning to believe the answer is simple... California Grill - here we come !
