Tokyo Dining Question

For those that have been before I am interested to know what you're allowed to order if you're on the Regular Dining Plan.

I realize for dinner I'm entitled to an entree, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage but with so many sushi choices on the menu how does that work?

Do sushi and rolls not fall under the Dining Plan? Is there a certain amount you can get? Curious before I go ahead and make an ADR.

TIA.

When I was there in October, the sushi was not part of the dining plan. It was ala cart. We had the DDP, not the DDXP (or whatever it's called.)

Also, back then I think it was still Teppan Edo. Not sure if they changed what was included since then.

So there ya' go. That's a definate - I'm not sure. :rotfl2:

Teppan Edo is a different restaurant than Tokoyo Dining. And no, sushi is not included there.
We ate at Tokoyo Dining last year, but I am not a sushi fan.
I think there were certain sushi items available and some which were not.
I hope someone else can answer specifically for you!!!!

DDP will not cover sushi or rolls unless you get them as part of a "platter" on the main menu.

Thank you very much. With these answers, definitely means this won't be a dining option for us - doesn't seem worth it without the sushi/rolls.

There are some bento boxes, a "combo" type meal that have rolls included along with mixed grill and tempura.

We are trying for the first time this year, and my DS is super excited - he's 10 and absolutely loves asian food.

Very exciting to hear about your DS being so adventurous with food. Don't see that a lot with kids so young.

I used to live in Japan, and I absolutely love sushi - the best I've ever had comes from over there of course. But reviews have been good for TD, so I'm sure he'll have a fantastic time.
