Tokoyo Dining

I need to book on more dinner for our trip. I noticed that Tokyo Dining has a lot of availability.
Has anyone been there lately? Is it a good choice with the DP plan?

We went and did not enjoy it very much. We may have just caught them on a bad day. You can see what others have to say about it. We were able to get a walk up reservation there with no problem, which means they weren't very busy I guess. See what others have to say.

We've dined there a few times and have had pleasant experiences. We certainly prefer TD over Teppan Edo. The sushi was ok, and the service was very good.

We've always had good experiences there and my mother who is a super picky diner said her meal was wonderful.

Have always had good sushi for Disney quality and the service was extremely good.

I like it.

The food is relatively authentic: not completely, but more so then quite a few restaurants in the World Showcase (probably because most of us are pretty used to Japanese cooking, admittedly, but it's still nice). You're not going to find anything unusual there, as I commented in a sushi review, but there are some traditional dishes. The staff is beyond courteous: they're some of the most friendly, chipper and helpful cast member's you'll find at Disney. There's a relatively decent list of sake and sake cocktails, which is always good. And I've never had a bad meal there.

I don't usually end up making reservations for here, but if I suddenly get hungry in World Showcase and don't have something scheduled soon, I almost always end up at Tokyo Dining. Because Teppen Edo is so much more popular for the 'show' aspect, Tokyo Dining does usually see light crowds. You can almost always just walk in.

We enjoy Tokyo Dining. The sushi, while not as good as my local favorite, is still pretty good and the service at TD has always been outstanding. When we are at Epcto we will often catch lunch at Tokyo Dining.
