Tokelau or Samoa?

It's our first trip to the Poly and from what I've read (here and on Tikiman), I think I've narrowed it down to these two longhouses to request. Any thoughts, pros or cons to consider? We are booked for a garden view. What would you choose?

We've only stayed at the Poly once and were in Samoa and loved it. The location was perfect and very convenient to everything. We were just steps from the GCH, volcano pool/quiet pool, the beach, and Captain Cooks .

We loved Tokelau. Especially for the convenience of walking to and from the TTC. It's still not far from the main pool, is beside a quiet pool and easy walk to GCH. I would absolutely request it again. For me Samoa was a little too close to the main pool, and I worried about noise. I like an area that's a little quieter. So really it depends on what you prefer.

I staying in Samoa(Room #1606) Ground Level Garden View and it was amazing! On my patio I looked directly at the volcano pool with the perfect view. This room is dead center to the break in shrubs along the walkway that let you enter the volcano pool area. It was perfect!

We always ask for Samoa too. Either lst floor or 3rd floor volcano pool view.

I like the closeness to everything. And if you get caught in a bad rain storm its closer to walk back to from the bus etc. Easy to get mug refills and snacks at captain cooks, closer to gch etc and bus stop etc.

Only problem with lst floor volcano pool view is to make sure you keep your curtain shut for privacy etc. I would rather have 3rd floor if at all possible.

A little bit off topic, but I have a question for those of you who stay on the first floor. It seems like it would be so convenient to walk out the sliding glass door to the pool, but is there any way to lock that door behind you? I always thought I'd have to use the interior door to go anywhere if I wanted to lock the room. But I've never stayed on the first floor so I'm not sure... anyone know? Thanks!
