Toiletpaper Rant...

Ok....everyone in the room that KNOWS HOW TO PUT THE TOILET PAPER ON THE ROLL, raise your hand!!


I swear, if I go into the bathroom one more time, and the new roll of toiletpaper is sitting on the back of the commode, i'm gonna scream!!! How hard is it to put it on the little roller thing?? I went in there this morning, and appearently someone dropped it in the sink because over 1/2 the roll was wet!!! At least I'm hoping someone dropped it in the sink!!
How do you get a roll of toilet paper wet?? nevermind, don't answer that!
I'm going to teach a class this afternoon - TOILET PAPER REPLACING 101....it will begin at 1:00 and is free to the public.
Does this happen at anyone else house, or just mine??

I totally agree. Why can't DH (who is nearly 30 and can put the toilet paper on all by himself!!!)do this when it runs out?

What about when they rest the new roll on top of the old one? My DH does this all the time.

I'd like to sign 5 members of my household up for this. I have attempted to teach this myself. Mustn't be a good teacher. Where do I register them?

My lovely dh will leave a roll with about 3 squares of TP on it- and not get another roll out. ARG!

Sometimes, someone takes out a new roll and leaves it somewhere, like on the side of the tub, and someone else comes along and doesn't notice it there, so takes out another roll, and then leaves that somewhere, so obviously, we have at least two people who haven't mastered Toilet Paper Replacing 101, so sign up two from my family please.

I have the same problem. However, once in a while, when the moon is full, DH will put it on the roll thingy...with the paper going in the WRONG direction. UGH!! I say nothing and just fix it, because I am happy he at least made an attempt to place the tp on the roll.

Must be a guy thing because my grandpa does it every time! Drive me up the wall.

Problem solved here. American toilet paper rolls do not fit on the standard European holders. Thus, we use a shelf.

When we moved to TN from IL we rented a house and let a guy rent a room from us....his GF said it was a northern thing that the toilet paper goes the wrong way....after i *politely* advised her otherwise, i figured it was a guy thing, not a northern thing. btw-she didn't come over much.....i didn't like her and made it perfectly clear!!

yes, i will voice my opinion over the toilet paper!

My DH learned this at his Papa's knee. I once left th toilet paper sitting on the tank for 3 WEEKS Didn't bother him a bit.

So far today I have replaced two toilet paper rolls. Sign me up for three spots

DH told me that it is OK to leave underwear on the floor because "a magic fairy comes by and picks it up!" I suppose he believes she's also changing the toilet paper rolls.

That magic fairy sure is a busy girl.

We have a tray in one bathroom on the back of the commode that they sit on and in the other they sit on the sink.

After too many incidents of my bathrooms getting TP'd by little tots--we just dealt with it in that way.

So don't come to my house--it could make your blood pressure spike .

And the best part--when the roll is empty--just toss and go to the next. No need to reload.

This happens in my house also. Drives me insane !!!!! When they do decide to change the roll I find the empty one on the floor . The other thing they do is use the last of TP in the bathroom they do not go and get replacements out of the closet . Little do they know, I have my own hidden roll for these not so rare occasions .

Shelf also used here. Can't reach the darn toilet paper holder where the original owners placed it and if we placed it by the toilet we'd bruise ourselves everytime we use it. Works for us.
