Also, it is so much easier to get the roll going if it is over the top. Makes me a little nuts when it is the other way!

See, I found the opposite to be true. We were an 'over' family for 30 years. Went away with an 'under' friend for a couple of weeks and found out that it's better under. I no longer sit 'there' at three o'clock in the morning trying to find the darn end of the roll like I used to when it was over. The end just magically appears all the time now. It's so nice.

Since I'm the only one who seems to know where the toilet paper is and how to change the roll it HAS to be over. If by some slight chance, a new roll happens to fall out of the closet and roll over to the toilet when it needs to be changed, and the person sitting there puts it on the wrong way, I have to correct it.
