O-K, a rather crude subject for a thread, I know:o ! But I'm wondering how the supply is if you only get T&T service every four days! Is there a stock in the utility closet, or must you request from housekeeping (and then are you charged for it?) or do you bring your own?
Just made my first reservation, so now I'm going to start thinking of all these goofy concerns! :p Thanks!

There have always been a few rolls in the bathroom - we have never had to request more.

We've always had plenty of toilet paper. There are extra rolls in the bathrooms. If you think you will run out, you can call Housekeeping and they will bring you more (no charge).

We were in a one bedroom at the BCV a few weeks ago and there were two rolls in the bathroom. I bring a roll of my own just in case the resorts supply rough paper. We used our own, theirs was not gentle enough for us.

Reminds me of our first trip several years ago to BWV. My wife was still not too sure of the DVC thing and there was only the roll on the hangar in our bathroom. Well, we knew there was a charge for extra towels and soap but toilet paper?
My wife pressed the button on the phone for DVC and got the sales people downstairs when told about the situation they replied - "use it sparingly!" My wife was somewhat taken aback but then started laughing - a call to housekeeping brough several rolls quickly at no charge. To this day my son stil looks in the bathroom when we arrive and says "use it sparingly!".

I can't begin to say how much I HATE the TP at WDW. Charmin is at the top of my grocery list before we head to BWV. I may have to put up with the TP in the parks, but I won't have it in my 'home'.

Thank you everyone for your replys! You can't imagine the teasing I've been getting from DH after he saw the reply info. come up on the email (he doesn't read the boards). At least I can tell him that my concern was legitimate! Thanks again!

When I was (much) younger, I was on a business trip with another young woman; we were both on very tight personal budgets. I didn't know the extent of her efforts to save money until her suitcase popped open on the baggage carousel, exposing a couple of rolls of toilet paper and a box offacial tissue "borrowed" from the maid's cart in our hotel...

Took a while for her to live that one down!

I've never thought about bringing tp to Orlando, we've always bought it once there. But now that you've brought it up - the space it took up on the trip down would leave more space in my suitcase for souvenirs on the way home. ;) ;) ;) :D

Since all luggage, checked and carry-on. is now subjected to searches I can imagine the security checkers trying to figure out why people are bring TP to Orlando! It might start a rumor that Florida is running out of TP!

They have the one "working" roll, another roll on the back of the toilet, and you should find a third roll in the vanity, as well as a spare box of tissue.

And, while we're on the subject, my family thought that I lost it when I brought down a toilet brush that I picked up from the Dollar Store. Since we had guests with us, I didn't want any, er, "trails", left behind.:teeth:

DH told me that the unit has a brush, but I didn't remember it. Sure enough, inside each vanity, there it was. I felt like such a doof for bringing my own.

The first time we stayed at VWL, DD brought a friend with her. About half way thru the trip, the friend said, "Is anybody else getting tired of this cheap tp?" We had to admit that we were. Since we flew down and didn't have a car, we had no choice but to put up with it. When we went back last summer, we drove and yes, I brought TP!
