I thought that we had some garlic bread, but we don't and don't feel like driving to the store in this rain. I am making a tossed salad, and was wondering what else to serve with it. Any suggestions?

Well if you have any minced garlic or garlic powder, you could mix it with some butter and spread it on some bread and toast in the oven.

Yeah, I was thinking of just using the regular bread...unless DH is willing to go to the store lol.

Do you have any regular white bread, butter and garlic seasoning? Make your own garlic bread/toast! I do this all the time for the girls. Just whip up a mixture of soft butter, garlic salt and parsley (optional), then spread it on some bread and broil! Yum!

My mom called and she is picking up a loaf of french bread, and my DH is going to make our garlic bread tonight-it's very yummy.
Thank you for the suggestions.
If I drank, I'm sure I would go along with the red wine.
