toenail polish

it just dawned on me that i have been using the same color polish on my toenails all summer. how boring!

if you polish your toenails/fingernails, do you usually stick with one color or do you try a bunch of different colors?

what's your favorite brand/color?

i really like l'oreal's jet set in shuttle.

I don't polish my fingernails but my toe nails are never naked!!!

Right now they are red, red, red....I don't know the color name but it's by sephora. It's a little teeny bottle and it covers like mad and lasts a long, long time. In fact I just got a compliment on them this morning -- was asked if I just had them done. When in truth it's well into week 2 of my self-done pedicure.

I'm usually obsessive and match my toenail/nail polish to what I'm wearing, however, in the summer it is Fiji by Essie. It's a pale pink, very spring/summer, and looks great with a tan!

I always keep my toes polished...hate the look of unpolished toes with the open toed shoes most people wear in the summer weather. I usually stick with just one color if I am doing touch ups on myself at home. When I get a pedicure I generally stay in the same color groupings but will venture out occasionally. I have many shades I like at the nail salon. Even though I own tons of bottles of polish at home, I am not really excited about any of them and am still looking for the "just right" shade. I currently have on a color called Cabernet that I recently purchased. I was a little upset though that the bottle color looked darker than the actual color once it was on my toes.

Now that it's summertime, I make myself get pedicures, but I can never seem to get it right when I do it myself! I also have bad blisters and dry bits, so it definitely pays to get them done professionally Generally speaking, I stick to lighter shades, usually in the shimmery family, but I will occasionally use a darker color, as long as it isn't TOO bright.

I dont usually polish my fingernails because it never stays looking nice for very long. I have a pedicure about every 6 or 8 weeks. I like my toenail painted in blue, purple and some greens. Right now they are a pretty shade of blue with a little flower painted on my big toe.

I can not wear polish on my fingernails, I always peel it off

My favorite piggy polish is orangey coral colors. They look great with a tan

L'Oreal's Jet Set is my favorite brand! It dries in no time and goes on nice and smooth. I think I have every color they've ever come out with, even the blue one!

My favorite L'Oreal Jet Set colors are Departure, Speedy and Voltage, but right now I have on ICE's Frosted Ice Purple Haze, toes and fingers must always match!

My toenails are always polished, because I pick at my fingernails until they're so short that I can't polish them!

I usually have a few colors that I use during the summer...when one starts to wear off, I use a different color for a while. This summer my favorite is Avon Casablanca...it's bright pink and shimmery.

I get a pedicure every 3 weeks, and usually do corals or reds, all by OPI. Right now I have a bright red on- I think it's " You're a Pisa Work". All their colors have great names

I just started painting mine again. In college, I would never remove the polish and would just paint over the previous color. They were nasty looking when I finally removed all the polish! But, after a couple of years in just clear, I'm venturing out into colors again.
Right now, and for the past couple of months, it's been a bright red by OPI. I like bright reds and deep reds/maroons.

I never wear the same color on my fingers as on my tootsies. I always change the color ( don't stick with the same color all the time). I have TONS of polish. I don't have a fav brand I pick by the color. I do tend to have a lot of OPI as the salon I work in sells it.

Right now I have Sally Hanson's white gold chrome on my toenails, my fingernails are a very light pink. I usually wear the same color on my hands and feet, but I just cut all my fingernails off and the chrome doesn't look good with short nails.

Never paint my fingernails ~ They seem to always break or I peel them, so it never seems worthwhile.

My toenails are never naked and at the moment I have L'Oreal Jet Set 501 on them, its a brillant red colour. I tend to switch between reds and pinks during the summer.

I have L'Oreal's Flash on my fingernails and toenails. I wear Birkenstock's all summer so I really like the look of polish on my toes. Now if I could get daring enough for a toe ring!

I had a French pedicure a few weeks ago, but just took it off today. Tomorrow I'm going in for another pedicure and am going to get pink with a small yellow flower on my big piggie! I just love to treat myself to a pedicure.

The funny thing is that I tend not to get pedicures in the winter since I keep my feet covered most of the time.

OPI's Up the Amazon Without a Paddle (weird name) but it is a nice coral pink which is my favorite shade for summer for fingernails and toes.

I've had the same color on all summer and it's just fine with me!

It's a quick dry polish - not sure who it's by though! I would say it's cranberry red color, I love dark colors on my feet.

If I wear polish on my fingers I wear clear or a pale pink.


I wish I was brave enough to get a pedicure - I have a couple unsitely planters warts on the bottom of my feet and I wouldn't dare put anyone through the pain of touching those nasty things! No pedicures for me! Heck, I'm even nervous to get a massage because I'm so embarrassed about them!!
