Watching this and what can I say. Brats totally spoiled brats. I never thought I could say mean things about a child but OMG. But I totally blame the moms. And to make matters worse they talk respectful to their mom's and the moms let them.:scared1:

I just watched it too, in horror!! The 4 year old screaming for her "ninni" did not speak in a normal voice once! When my kids were little I nipped whining in the bud! I HATE whining. I would tell my kids, "My ears can't understand whining." Then they would ask again in a normal voice, with a "please" and a "may I." For goodness sake, those children were a disgrace.

I have to say I do love the editing. The one older brat, sorry girl, Danielle. Her mom said, "She'd never hurt anybody. I mean, you know, she'd never punch anybody." Cut to her smacking a little boy and then showing a fist to her mother, who did nothing. Lovely. What a little sweetheart.

Can you imagine these girls as teenagers?

These little divas were created by their parents and their environments. I blame the parents for every bit of it. I also can't stomach the s*xualizing of young children.

THIS! :thumbsup2
Its awful! Some of the outfits and all the make up on these girls! I watched once and swore the little girl in the "glitz photo" was 16.
The fake hair, flippers (and then the moms yelling when the little girls have a hard time keeping them from falling off), fake nails, spray tans, some of the dance moves and the mid drifts, etc. Why do you want your daughter to look like something she is not and take the innocent 5 year old persona away?

Its disgusting, these moms are living their little fantasy barbie doll dream through their child.

I also often think (and its scary) how many pedophiles do you think tune into that show (and maybe attend events)? I would never want my daughter a part of it.

I have watched previous seasons and just caught part of one of today's episodes. Ok, SamiJo knows a routine for her "talent"? How old was she?
16 months? Seriously? Unfortunately, I said to DH I could see DD putting DGD in these!!

Oh, my! I caught some episodes during the week. Some of the Moms - eek! get a life, ladies (oh, and at least one dad). I cannot understand why parents do these things to their kids. And babies! why are 16 month olds doing pageants? They don't know that they want to be there. And putting false eyelashes on the little girl, when she kept covering her eyes and saying she didn't want them put on. I think the kid knows what she's talking about.

My mum and I watch this every week-SO FUNNY! I will say, there are some good ones. They're few and far between, but they do exist (polite, respectful, non-bratty). Sometimes, there's the ones who are bratty but not nearly as much as some of the others. Overall, it's good entertainment and highly amusing.

I was flipping through channels and found this today - I've never seen it before but I was hooked! I was horrified! Some of the kids were just awful, the most whiny, bratty little horrors! Their parents were even worse!

I have to admit I laughed my head off at that one dad who was up dancing and doing the routines with his daughter! He certainly got into it! But he was definitely one of the better parents.

My favorite was Sammy Jo's mom - who said she became depressed when she had her third son because she wanted a daughter, just so she could get her into pageants. That must make her sons feel awesome.

I find myself watching this show because it's so horrifying, I can't take my eyes off of it. Most of the children and their parents are terrible! The girl with the ninni has been on two episodes. I know I'm part of the problem because I watch it, but I just can't help it.

Did you see the little girl - 8 yrs, I think - who said she wanted to be a dancer in Las Vegas and her mom was so proud!

Love love love that show, so much fun. A lot of the moms are crazy. But if me and hubby decide to have a baby I totally want to put her in pageants if we had a girl. I think it would be so fun.

Most of the kids on the show are so disrespectful. The goofy parents (and grandparents) just sit back and smile. I wonder how they act in school with their teachers and peers.

I'm almost postive no "outsiders" are allowed in to watch, friends and family only that are on a list.

One mother said, "She did good. She really got out there and shook her little butt."

The child was two years old.:sad2: I hate to even think about the self image the parents project to this little girl, starting when she's just a baby.

Is this the same baby that they spray tanned and but mascara on?

Yes but think about it, you have how many little girls running around a hotel where ANYONE can stay. Even if they are not allowed inside the events, they can stay in the hotel I am sure.
And then there's the fact that its being broadcasted on television. :confused3
