Anyone have any suggestions on a toddler pirate costume? Went to party city today and they had a 2T but it was really small for my 2.5 yo. Now I'm leery about buying a costume online due to sizing. Guess it is the wrong time of year to be looking for costumes, but just figured I'd check here to see if anyone had any suggestions! At least I have almost a month to get one before our cruise.

BTW, got 6 yo DS a pirate costume from craigslist, but no luck so far my DS #2.

Thanks!

Have you tried the Disney store online? I know on board ship they have lots of pirate accessories..maybe you could fashion a costume with tights and a white button down shirt, then add some pirate accessories? good luck...

Thanks for the tips all -- I'm also hoping for input on someone who's bought one online to let me know about sizing!

While I have not specifically bought pirate costumes, I have bought several other costumes from www.costumesupercenter.com .

They have several cute costumes in toddler and child small sizes which would meet your needs I imagine.
The reps are helpful; you can speak to someone regarding size recommendations.

btw, currently they have promo code on the site for 20% off kids costumes (ends today though).

good luck.

I had bought my boys their pirate costumes from Gymboree. If you are familiar with Gymboree's sizing, the costumes ran true to size. You could probably find someone selling these on ebay. Just take a look at the size chart on Gymboree's website for guidance on sizing if you need it.

Good luck!
