Do you have a toddler who LOVES certain things at WDW? If so, what are they? We'll be there next weekend... with season passes so it is all fair game. DS2 has only been inside MK once for Mickey's Christmas and it was a year ago... he loved it, but was onlyl 16 months old. He has since gotten SO into Disney movies and I just know he will recognize different characters this time. I can't wait!

Thanks in advance for any help!! :yay:

Tom Sawyer's Island and the Riverboat are often overlooked for other "rides", but toddlers find these attractions to be very exciting. Tom Sawyer's island because they can run free instead of being confined to a stroller or constant holding hands. The cave is fun and the fort play area is great to let them run some energy off.

My kids saw the light parade about 10 times throughout last year and loved it every time. I think I can hum that whole silly electronic tune.

The barnstormer and Dumbo are also rides that are so cool for young ones. Especially the new Dumbo setup with the play ground waiting area.

DD became fascinated with some wildflowers growing near the walkway at Camp Minnie-Mickey when she went at 15 months (see sig pic below) and we waited there about 20 minutes while she enjoyed them. :flower3:

As you can see she couldn't get enough of the characters and would have spent the entire trip with them if she could have. She's 9 now, knows quite well that they're people in costumes but still feels the same way.

We have taken our son and his cousin for the past 3 years. Our guy (now 3.5, nephew is now 4) loves spaceship earth - but his cousin was terrified due to dark. They both liked the dream along with mickey show, although our son liked much more (he is really into music). Our nephew LOVED buzz lightyear at mk, but our son just thought okay. Both LOVED safari at animal kingdom, and also really enjoyed the Pangani walking trail right next to safari entrance - which was also a super convenient way to occupy the 1 hour fastpass return wait for safari. Both also liked lion king show at animal kingdom. For the "middle" of the three trips (when just under 3), their favorite rides were monorail and mk train - nephew really into trains, but even our son liked them too. And on that trip, their single favorite attraction may have been (drumroll), the silly little faux hedgerow maze at back of England pavilion of epcot (hedges only 2 feet tall so u can see kids at all time) - this was one of few places they could just "have fun" - run around, etc. On most recent trip, our guy's favorite things were: mk - dream along with mickey and having lunch/snack at cosmic ray's while watching surprisingly talented animatronic alien lounge singer (he also liked pirates), epcot - spaceship earth, animal kingdom - safari and walking trails, and dhs - beauty and beast stage show (which is rumored to be closing soon). And his single favorite day was the day where we saw the least attractions - we mostly just had a casual resort/pool day- he played in beach area and sand-bottom pool of beach club for literally hours, then did a stroll around beach club and boardwalk, then played on beach, then had an hour or so of "rest time" in room with mickey loop playing on tv - not quite a nap but close. Then went over to epcot for a quick performance by one of the foreign music bands, then china counter service dinner, then maelsrom, then back to beach club beach for smores, then bedtime.

If your toddler is anything like mine, then he will love Disney Jr. Live on Stage! My 4 and 2 year olds absolutely loved this show. We watch the programs every morning (Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sophia, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, etc), so even us parents got into it. It's a great interactive show, and if your toddler is a fan of Disney Jr programs, he'll love the show. Don't miss it!
