We are taking are toddler to Disneyland for the first time next Month and are staying at the HoJo..

I am going to make him an autograph book as I have Disney Stickers and can use a 40% at the craft store to purchase a small book.

Any other ideas for easy to find, small disney treats I would love to get him a shirt for his first time but they are all like 20.00 on ebay..

Any ideas I want to make this as magical as possible but still stay on a budget of say under 50$...

A Mickey Bar('cream as he calls them) and a Balloon I am sure will be musts..

Thank you! Its my first time to Disney as a Mom!:wizard:

Honestly, your toddler is not going to remember this trip. So think about things you want as souvenirs of the trip. I would skip the t-shirt as he'll grow out of it very soon.

I would say go with the autograph book as you can keep that forever. Also, a pair of Mickey Ears will be just as great for photo ops as the t-shirt would have been and can be brought out for another trip later. I would also say pick a spot in the park that you know will always be there - in front of the Walt statue, for example - and take his picture there. Every time you go back, take a picture in the exact same spot and show him growing up.

The memories are the magical part... not the "stuff." :wizard:

Check Target or Micheal's for a Disney coloring book if he likes coloring. Look around for a small stuffed toy that he would like--our D has a collection of Poohs. Hide it in the bottom of the bag to bring out while waiting for the parade or something. It will be a lot less expensive than buying it at DLR.

I love the Mickey ears and photospot idea from Cruise, the ears would be great for photos and to save on a shelf in his room and those photos would be priceless.

If you HAVE to buy something...one of those dumb light up spin toys are a huge hit with the toddler preschool crowd. They run 12-14 dollars. But I LOVE the ears idea and the picture idea.

Are you talking about what kind of souvenirs to buy him THERE...or what to buy at home to bring to make his trip a little more special?

When ds was 3 the only thing we bought him AT Disney was the traditional mouse ears with his name on them.

We brought a bag of little 'treats' for the plane ride and each day he had a special 'theme' t-shirt to wear and each evening he got a special gift from 'Mickey' in our room.

For the plane we had dollar store coloring books, stickers, etc. all Disney themed. We were able to find Mickey and Minnie the gang, Pooh and friends, Nemo stuff, Toy Story stuff I'm seeing alot more of now.

We got a $5 soft Mickey at Target, that was on his pillow when we arrived at our room. (Mommy did a little creative 'running ahead' to the room.)

He already owned a Mickey, Little Einstein's and Nemo t-shirt...so he wore those on the appropriate park day. You can find these at Walmart, Target, K-mart, etc.

One day he got glow sticks, glow glasses and glow bracelets, etc....at dinnertime the day we were doing the MK fireworks.

Except for the first night, I left the Mickey gift with the Mousekeeping envelope on the bed and a note asking that it be left for ds. They always put it on the pillow with a towel animal. So exciting to return from the park and see what 'Mickey' left!

We found the clusters of lollipops in the mickey head shape to be big hits and they were inexpensive.
